A hotpod is a device, installed into existing duct work, which can help the homeowner control the temperature of an existing room. Unit appears to be used.

Product appears slightly damaged/used. The thermostat arrived damaged.

Hotpodworht every penny..

Due to a design issue in our home, our guest bedroom temperature would drop to 6 -10 degrees lower than the other rooms on cold days. About 5 years ago we had a Hotpod installed. Problem solved. When we are not using the room for visiting guests, we set the device on 64 F. When we plan to use the room we set the control to 70 F. Within an hour, the temperature in the room is where we need it. The best part of all of this is that there is no noticeable increase in our utility bill. Our A/C guy charged about $300 to install an additional 120VAC attic circuit, the device and the thermostat drop. The installation was completed in less than 2.5 hours.

Damaged and doesnt do much

There was no packaging to protect the product. Just carelessly tossed into a box, and therefore the unit was badly dented. Nonetheless I straightened it out the best I could and installed. It did not come with a thermostat wire, so I had to find my own 4-wire to connect the thermostat to the unit. Once installed, I was shocked to see how LITTLE heat this thing produced. Want to know why this thing is rated for zero clearance? Nothing in it gets hot. Just a little warm-ish. It raises the temperature of the input air maybe 5 degrees at most, and the fan is very weak. A crushingly disappointing and wildly expensive experiment totally failed. I highly recommend you find something else for your HVAC needs.

Unsatisfied

Havnt installed yet but pod was dented up didnt come with wireless thermostate like video stated didnt even come with wire to hook thermostate up so stating includes everything to hook unit up that is false. Update i installed the unit and it is very noisy its installed in our garage leading into our finshed basement and i can hear it running upstairs

Banged up box, included accessories, well not included. Look elsewhere

Unit appears used. None of the included and mentioned accessories are included. Namely, the silencer and the wireless thermostat. I had a lot of faith in this product just spending a bit more to to hydronic and connect our boiler. Given I can’t get a hot pod that’s new.

Poor instructions

Poor instructions for a unit that I don't have. The model# of the unit I received isn't the same model# advertised. Tried to reach seller for clarification at no avail. Returning it.
