They work but...(read below

These work well for short swims. I use them for 1-2 mile open water swims and feel this type of fin and its length is great for leg workout. I do not like longer fins. But the problem is they have made my one foot raw. When your heel opens up and sidfe of foot is raw as well it takes time to heal and thus no leg workout. I thought after wearing and building up to longer times in water they would of course contour and fit would be optimized. Wrong....I wish there was a solution to this....I did heal and began weasring again and problem returned. item is shelved until I find another to wear.

Not nearly as good as their previous discontinued Crossblade fins

Disappointing fin design overall. Pretty good fit but the new design lacks the same power/effectiveness moving through the water which its predecessor had down pat.

These fins are the besssst!!

I LOVE them! Got them to replace my old very loved TYR crossblades (previous discontinued model) that had torn in the toe beds/along the brand stamp part. They seem to be stronger/thicker than the old model in those areas that had torn~ Weight is great, they give a nice boost of speed and also work the leg muscles really well. No rubbing or blisters at all, fit like a glove, true to size~ I’m a women’s 7.5 and ordered the S. Very happy with this purchase, they are fun to swim laps with :)

Nice fins but stiff

I purchased these fins for my husband. He has not been happy with how stiff they are. I have ordered him a set of the TYR flex fins to see if he is happier with them. Probably more a preference of the individual and not a reflection on the quality of the fins.

Size Report.

I am a triathlete and use them for swim training. The have the right amount of flex and propulsion to them. Size. I purchased Size XL (Mens 11 - 13 Grey). I have worn a Men's size 12 Wide (Saucony sneaker) and used to wear size 12 Nike until Nike narrowed their running shoe line. Now I just cannot wear Nike. As far as fin fit, I believe I am at the absolute maximum foot size to fit the XL fins. My toes hang out somewhat. If your feet are any larger than a Men's 12.5 or 13, in my opinion, get the XXL. If your feet are superwide 12s, I would think about the XXL.

Love these

Well made, mid length fin. I am a ladies size 8. I ordered the small and find them just a bit snug but my feet do swell a bit. Thought to go up a size and use a divers sock or swim sock? Great quality product. They are slightly heavier so account for that if you plan on travelling.

Not as bad as I had thought.

Feel shorter though it is the same length as the original Crossblade. The rubber does seem stiffer, perhaps more durable. The foot pocket does fit more snug than the original,..and seems shorter in the foot length. I wear a size 12 shoe, and my toes do stick out more than usual, in the XL (11-13),..than before.
