This is great

I needed something to hang some plaques on brick. I tried alien tape and it fell off after 3 hours. Found these, and they are wonderful! I have 4 plaques on the brick on my patio and they have been up for almost a month now. Very impressed. Will (and have) buy more of these. And the price is great.

Very handy!

I had a couple of tin signs I needed to hang on wood surfaces outside. I chose these & I think I made a good choice. Nice length to the strips and really good adhesion. My signs haven’t been hanging outdoors for long, but there seemed to be no indication that these wouldn’t be long lasting. Happy with my purchase.

Excellent item

8 month review. When installed "AS PER the DIRECTIONS", the item works and holds excellent. (Installed on uneven and porous bricks) - Cleaning the surfaces and applying the product under the correct conditions allows it to adhear and remain in place as described. Mine have held up through, direct sunlight, high and low temps, Rain and Snow. Would definitely purchase again.

Lasted 9 months on brick

Couldn't decide how to rate this. It worked...until it didn't. My guess is, once the brick had absorbed enough water, it ruined the adhesion. So I'm back to the drawing board trying to find something that will stick to brick wall long term without ruining the surface if I ever want to remove it.

I've changed my mind.

So, I've waited til it was a very bright, sunny day and it has been for several days. I just put all of them out and attached to a few items, including a fairly heavy battery (3-4 lbs maybe). I call it heavy, because before it wouldn't hold something half that weight. Now that it's dry outside, it will. I even had to pull it off the velcro this time. So, I'm going to order more actually. It kind of helps what I'm trying to do with my solar panels. Really cool. Gives me some great ideas. So, I'm changing to five stars and RECOMMENDING that you do not try to set these up in the rain or damp conditions (I set it up in damp conditions to test). Probably will still work in damp conditions, but if you're concerned about something dropping hard (a battery), secure it with other things also. -----------------------OLD REVIEW-------------------------- I tend to like this brand, but I was expecting something nice. I only used one so far. There was nothing wrong with it. I removed the adhesive to adhere it to a small solar panel I own, so I could stick up on something outside. I attached the other side to something outside. It was a little damp, but that's irrelevant. I cleaned it off. That wasn't even the problem. It literally would not stay stuck to the solar panel piece that weights maybe 2 lbs (I am being generous). This thing is supposed to hold 15 lbs. It never worked as it should have. I still have several left and I'll be trying it on other things as well, but for now I can't give this product a good review. I'll make sure to come back and change this review a bit if my opinion changes. I still have several to use up and I am sure I will try again.

Really came in handy when I had to fasten something down outside the house

I used it for holding something down on the patio. It works very well.

You need to wait the 15 minutes!

I bought this product three times to hang a 13 lb. tapestry to a wall. I stuck the velcro strips to a length of wood that was screwed into a wall. The tapestry had the other half of the velcro. The first time, the velcro strips detached from the wood. I tried again with 3M double-stick tape. This second time, the velcro strips detached from either the tape or the tape detached from the wall. The *third* time I actually read the instructions. It says to wait 15 minutes after attaching the velcro strips before using. I waited the 15 minutes. The tapestry has been holding ever since. I used 3 packages of these for this tapestry (15 strips in all).

Successful Application

I was able to use these velcro strips to attach my portable speakers to an exterior brick wall. The strips adhered well to the brick surface with no issues. I recommend this product.

Using them to support hooks which then support shelves which then support whatever I put on them. Maybe about 5lbs so far and they haven’t given out.

Disappointed

Brought these to stick some prints on to a brick wall. It does say it will work with brick. Prints were very light. Lasted one day and they fell down. Very disappointed as we used these so we didn't have to drill loads of holes.
