The Vestil PJ-2001 adjustable pallet jockey can be used with an electric pallet truck, also called a walkie truck (sold separately), to grab the side of a loaded pallet and pull it to a convenient spot for transporting or unloading. The pallet jockey is made of steel for rigidity and resistance to corrosion and has welded joints for strength. The yellow powder-coated finish resists wear and corrosion. The pallet jockey has hooks that fit into the fork wheel openings of the pallet truck for use. Knobs allow the length of the jockey to be adjusted to fit the pallet truck. The pallet jockey has a load capacity of 4,000 lb. and measures 6" high, 28-1/2" wide, and between 9-29/32 and 12-11/16 inches long. (Height is the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; width is the horizontal distance from left to right; length is the horizontal distance from front to back.) This product is intended for use in professional and industrial environments. Pallet trucks, also known as pallet jacks, skid jacks, and pump trucks, are used to lift and transport pallets or skids of goods. Pallet trucks can include a swivel pump handle, a squeeze trigger, two forks, and wheels for maneuverability, and typically contain a hydraulic cylinder or a battery-powered motor to raise and lower the forks. Some pallet trucks have an adjustable push rod on the bottom of each fork, allowing the user to modify the height. Adjustable pallet jockey

I own,a lumper service and by far this is the most useful tool a lumper could have no problem pulling pinwheeled pallets

What this device will do and not do.

The device worked only when moving pallet items of less than a 500lbs. To be fair we were trying to use it to pull full pallets of differing types of produce out of trucks where these pallets were placed end to end. Electric pallets really are only designed to lift and then move heavy items, not drag. We have a nice warehouse ornament.

The idea is great, but it does't really work for what I ...

The idea is great, but it does't really work for what I planned for. My intention was to use with an electrical pallet jack to pull pallets loaded sideways on the truck. Usually all pallets I try it were too heavy and the pallet jack spin the wheel and did not pull.
