Great protection for my wall

This product is very dependable. It is easy to assemble and slides right around your dart board, which holds it in place.

Really simple and affordable solution

I was nervous at first buying this because people said they were shooting darts straight through it to the wall behind and that the pieces didn't fit snug together... First, people who are piercing the wall behind it must have terrible throw form and throwing un-aimed bullets in the general direction of the board. The pieces may have some gaps in certain areas but it's hardly noticable. I wish the hole for the board was about half an inch smaller though. It fits some what loosely around the dart board but it hasn't caused an issue yet.

Ease of installation without tools and functional to protect the darts

All I hoped for.

Its not the coolest looking backboard. But it gives a good amount of protection around the dartboard. My husband and I are pretty accurate so we will just use the four. But for nights with friend and/or drinking we will add the bottom two puzzle pieces. It was super easy to put up. Fits perfectly tight to my 18in dartboard. I threw some darts directly at the board to make sure they wouldnt go through. Total protection. Very pleased.

THICK PADDING PROTECTS THE WALL BUT...

This item begin to fall apart within a week. The cork appearance there's nothing more than a micro thin sheet of imprinted paper to look like cork. The rest of it is a thick foam underneath. So the cork board appearance is just for looks. I don't think it was worth the 60 plus dollars we paid. I think it would have been okay at 30 bucks at the most. It does protect the wall but it looks pretty shoddy as the paper/veneer already peeling the paper from the foam backing After just a few weeks. I gave it three stars because it does function. I took off two stars because of the intended deception of the product to look like cork when it is in fact just foam.

Pieces don't align well. Poor manufacturing.

I have not used this board, but disliked it out of the box. You can't tell from the sales photos, but this comes in pieces and is assembled like a jigsaw puzzle, which requires precise milling to work right. (No instructions or alignment marks, so if you are mechanically challenged it might pose some difficulty). You have to install a shim liner in the hole for it to fit a 17.75" board (instructions for that). Some of the matching edges are as much as 1/16" different which mean gaps at the joints. Some of the joints are quite visible from the throw line and are distracting. Easy to hang since the board supports itself by the dart board. I am not sure what it will be like to pull darts since it hangs free. I will probably return this item.

Cork film on foam pealed up in two days

This was easy to install, but the cork film over the foam started pealing up on the corners after about 2 days. I thought it was fully cork and am definitely disappointed that the alternative is falling apart so fast. Over the last month the pealing has gotten worse even though I haven’t used it except the twice I had people over.

Product is decent but noticing some peeling/bubbling of material after a few weeks.

Would still recommend as it does protect the walls but I question the long term value
