Joint Sealing Problems Using Supplied Parts.

I am disappointed in this filter. A previous reviewer noted the difficulty to make leak proof connections. I had tremendous trouble making leek proof joints and had to purchase metal parts to replace the plastic, then the leak stopped. The filter acts as a flow orifice and reducing the piping from 1/2” to 3/8” then the losses through the filter means that the cold water pressure and flow is very much reduced, BUT it tastes great!
