Nice thing as a value for money

Works fine. Battery holds for a promised time. Has babies noise detection, some lullaby (we use the sound of a rain), also talk back function is useful (but unusable if any lullaby is on - hard to listen for any reply) The screen quality is acceptable to see a rotation or movement - with no quality details. Overall - this gadget is okay to be recommended.

Does the job

I do like this monitor. It has excellent battery life and k know this because the monitor will not turn off all night… which bring me to my only Con: the monitor will stay on all night if it detects noise coming from the room, for example, I have a white noise machine in room so the monitor stays on all night which is annoying because the screen is very bright and distracting when we are trying to sleep. If I turn off the “noise activated feature” it basically tells the monitor to always stay on. Other than that, I do not use the music feature or the mic. The night vision works perfect.

Review After Year of Use

We got this monitor before my baby was born over a year ago and we’ve been using it ever since she was born. We weren’t looking for anything super fancy, and we mostly use it for watching her sleep. It picks up sound very well, but our baby uses a sound machine so hearing her cry is sometimes muffled. We keep the camera over her crib and it has worked well without fail. It switches from a normal view during the day to a night vision view when the lights are off so we can always see her. The night vision view is a little blurry at times but it’s not too blurry where we can’t see her. We can take the monitor anywhere in the house or on the back patio/front porch and still have a good connection to the camera. We’ve also taken this monitor and camera on vacations to keep an eye on our baby. It’s been a great purchase and we haven’t had any problems with it. I highly recommend it if you’re needing an affordable monitor to keep an eye out on your kid while they sleep.

Screen features an old style quality- not as pictured on box

I like the product and its features and quality except that I gotta work a little hard to figure out if my baby is really sleeping when I don't see her eyes because due to the unclarity of the screen, it sounds as if she is constantly moving a little bit (it has such a quivering motion) Also sometimes- especially at night, I can barely realize what's going on in the screen (Is that her Head? or a part of the Blanket..?) --Never mind if it would be a different baby there I almost wouldn't realize :-) I like that it has a temperature and alarm that you can set if too hot or cold--a very important feature actually. I like that it has a noisemaker but wish I would be able to hear her better when the noisemaker is on (Almost impossible to hear except if she's howling) and wish there was an option of setting the noisemaker for a constant ON-not with an hour as its longest running time.

Great for the price

I bought this as a second monitor for our camp. I actually love it more than our expensive monitor we have at home. The range is amazing, the screen is huge and the battery life is great! (which is my biggest complaint about our other monitor). The only downside to this is the camera needs to be in a fixed location and you cant move it using the monitor BUT I knew that when buying it... still love it.

Really good monitor for the price

I love the battery life, goes through the night about 10-12 hours on full charge with display continuously on, could get some more juice if auto display feature is used. The night vision is also pretty decent for the price and so is the sound detection and quality. Couple of things I dislike are that the display needs to be viewed at particular angle for best image and secondly there is no motion based triggers.

Thick walls. It works!

I’m not 100% happy with this cameras quality it shows some shadows and is a little fuzzy in the photo. However I am satisfied bc it goes through my VERY THICK WALLS!!!!!! We tried four cameras and this is the only one that worked with our walls. We live in an old remodeled warehouse apartment building only 800 sq ft apartment but the walls are very thick. So this camera works. From the bedroom to the front of the apartment in the living room. One thing that is a downer is the flashing GREEN LIGHT when you have the monitor off on the camera. So the green light flashes when we are in bed and can see it on my daughters crib. Apparently it’s to let you know the monitor is off and camera not connected to it. So I either leave the monitor on or turn the camera off at night by her crib so the green flashing doesn’t wake her. AGAIN, I’m keeping it bc I’m tired of trying cameras that don’t work with our walls 200 ft away.

It only lasted 3 months

Bought this in February 2021, parent unit just randomly stopped working. No damage, it shows it's charging when I plug it in, it just doesn't turn on anymore. Vtech's solution is to give me a discount to buy another unit. Even with a discount who can afford a baby monitor that only lasts 3 months. Two thumbs down and a big fat raspberry.

Si quieres tirar tu dinero a la basura, esta es una excelente opción

Después de realizar la compra y con la información del producto que estaba publicada en la página, me quede muy ilusionado de recibir y utilizar un producto que realmente me funcionara, sin embargo, desde el primer día me lleve una gran sorpresa ya que la señal se pierde después de 5 metros, constantemente se desconecta y marca que se predio la señal, la temperatura que marca el termómetro me parece que no es la correcta, antes de comprar te recomiendo revisar muy bien si es el producto que necesitas.

Pretty good

I bought this for the grandparents house and it works pretty good. The quality of the monitor is good as the screens night vision and sound is very clear. So far the battery life has been holding up and way better than the other one I had been using. I only wish the camera could be moved with controls on the handheld part. That way when baby moves or rolls in sleep out of the cameras full view, I would be able to just adjust the camera without having to go into the room. However I’m sure you could get around this if you just secured the camera in full view of the entire bed. So overall I would recommend this monitor.

Gets the job done

Great monitor for travel. I purchased this as a travel monitor and it gets the job done. The picture is great and so is the range but the battery is horrible. Make sure you can be near a charger as the battery goes fast.

The battery life is pretty bad, and the image quality could be better

It's decent for the price and I mean it definitely serves its purpose no problem. But it could have a way better battery life (it only lasts me about 4 hours of constant use.) So It's annoying to have to constantly remember to charge it through the day between naps and bedtime etc. Also I only realized after trying a different camera that the picture quality could be much better. It's not like you can't see your babes face on the screen, but it's pretty fuzzy compared to other cameras on the market that are super crisp even when zoomed in!
