Paint remover tool... "vagner"...
Works like a champ...!!

Works ok. Not great.
It works ok to remove paint. But requires a lot of passes and leaves visibly flaking paint. If I were to do it again I’d just invest right away in a rotary sander and get coarse sanding pads and do that from the beginning. This isn’t worth the extra space and money.

As advertised
I stripped paint from my deck and this was way more efficient than sanding. However, you may need to lightly sand after using this because it can leave circular marks in the finish. Still, worth the time savings.

Doesn't strip paint
I bought this to strip most of the paint off of a wooden dock. It doesn't strip paint. All it does is take off loose paint or peeled paint. It doesn't do anything more than a coarse sander. I called the company and asked them I had if they have a disc that would be stronger and strip paint. They said they did not. Maybe this will take flat paint off of a wall but it won't touch hard glossy paint on a wooden dock

Cheap
To bad a quality tool brand doesn’t make this sander especially in a cordless version because the concept works but the quality of this product is pathetic, comes with a 8 inch cord and the housing is a very thin cheap plastic the handle broke off this first time it hit the ground , the handle is absolutely necessary to use it.I still use it but for how long?

Wouldn't prep without it
Made painting my house much easier. Masonite lap siding. Sanded seems, least and fastener heads without issue.

Fantastic!
I am a 60 year old lady painting an old Victorian house. I was really struggling using a belt sander as they are so heavy. This machine was the answer! Does a fantastic job of smoothing rough edges and removing chipping paint. Goes through tons of discs, but worth it for my needs.

Doesn't work as reported
I have an old Victorian home with stone window sills. I spent 15 minutes on an area about the size of a cigar box and it removed little paint. What is seemed to do is polish what paint was there. A two inch carbide blade scrapper did a better job ... with a little elbow grease. To be fair I haven't tried it on wood yet, but I plan to do so soon. I'll report back when I do. I have had better luck with a heat gun and scrapper. Labor intensive yes, but a much better job at removing paint.
