Good stuff!

I am not a wood connoisseur by any means but this was perfect and affordable for my "wedding flower recycling" idea. The live edge was in great shape and all I did finish-wise was some poly spray. I have two more mounts I need to get done and I will absolutely buy from this seller again.

Very nice product, great value but flexibility with size is key

Product received (mostly) as described. Very nice wood slab, as expected. The only drawback was the size was different than described. To be totally fair, the description does say that it can vary a bit but it is significantly different than the listed dimensions. Listed as 11"x13", which would have been perfect for what I was looking for but when received it was more like 20"x18". Generally speaking, I was given more than promised so it isn't like I didn't 'get what I paid for' as I actually got more. It is just now larger than what I needed so I could have gone with the 'large' version rather than this 'extra large.' Overall, I got a great deal in the size vs. price paid consideration, as well as compared to what others are asking for something similar but smaller. I am happy with the product, I just may have to use it for something different than originally planned!

Not what I was expecting....

The shape is more oblong.. the wood was stained... I know it is a raw piece of wood... But I likely will not be able to use this

Not for lichtenburg burning

I'm sure this wood is good for some arts n crafts but ...... lichtenburg wood burning.....NOPE....what I was able to burn correctly the heat literally warped the entire piece...if I even tried the middle of the wood it just drilled a hole right thru it....not bad mouthing these guys....just not what I need

Arrived Exactly as Described

I ordered this along with the Walnut Hollow Value Woodburner Pen (seperate review on the way). The wood is gorgeous and was surprisingly smooth out of the wrapping. The bark adds a great "home made" and unprocessed touch to the finished product. I immediately got to work and made a sign for my girlfriends horse pen. I will upload a picture of the finished product. I haven't gotten a chance to stain and laquer it yet, but I am assuming that it there will be no issues in the final stages of completion. I will not hesitate to order this product again, I am very happy. I cant wait for my girlfriend to open her christmas present, she loves her horse and this sign will make his pen unique and really stick out! I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a great canvas for woodburning.

not what is described

This item is way smaller than described. I should have listened to the other reviews. trying to send it back and they want me to pay for the postage. Crock. DO NOT PURCHASE, GO ELSEWHERE.
