PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The Westbrass Develosah 9" 2-Handle Instant Hot and Cold Water Dispenser Faucet with HotMaster DigiHot Digital Tank System dispenses instant hot water for food, beverage and cleaning operations. The dispenser instantly provides water at the 6 preset temperatures selected during installation. The unit’s fixed spout design, mounted with its spring back handle behind the faucet, provides extra safety and security during operation. Digihot faucets, are ideal for kitchens or bars; or any location requiring a source of constant, fast, hot water. Water reheats using a superfast 1500 Watt element, which is separated from the water by a stainless steel plate to prevent element corrosion. The tank is laser welded, 304 stainless steel for superior longevity. The dry-start float and the over-heat protector are also stainless steel to prevent off taste and odors caused by copper sulfate compounds. The non-pressurized bladder system prevents catastrophic tank failures. On/off control button is designed for vacation or down time. It’s great after a trip to the hardware store for more parts then are in the box.

This looks nice and works well BUT you will need to get additional connections and tubing to install it. The instructions are only ok. Knowing this prior to starting installation would have set more realistic expectations. If the instructions were better and all the necessary parts included I would have given it more stars. Overall not bad for the price but be aware of what’s needed for installation.

Great product

Our plumber said he was impressed with unit that it actually looks like hood quality and the flow of water is much better then most. He also said if he installs another one he will recommend this brand. We have had it for 2 months now and we have no complaints so far.

Amazon DIY'ers may need help

The instructions that came with the unit are for a previous product. the nice gal at the company (l.A-based: there was no answer to my email, but a human actually answered the phone) admitted that the manufacturer had not reconciled this. The connectors that came with it were not at all intuitive. After 2 trips to home for adapters i gave up and called a plumber friend . I admit i am probably not as knowledgeable as other homeowners, but even my plumber friend said "dude this company has got to be kidding" . once up and running it seems to work well. 2 stars overall for the installation misery.

Skip this one.

Still in the process of installing this one, but, it is a DISASTER to install: 1) faucet has 3/8 and 1/4 male compress connectors. Do these connect to anything? Nope. Nothing in there works. So, will have to add some couplers, tee, etc. 2) the connector for hot/cold on the tank are odd. Thankfully, the hot one DOES have a connector that hooks to the faucet. Then all I have to do is figure out the cold connector. Right now, they have a plastic quick connect (which 20 yuears ago, was a SLOW disconnect for me so never again), which is to hook up to the 1/4 M compression line of the faucet above. 3) the tank should be secured, which has 2 keyholes on the back. No big deal, except for a HUGE plug on the bottom of the back. And there was no hardware to secure it. 4) the filter is another joke. Proprietary. The last thing that you want. 5) then add in a limit valve (keeps pressure down) because the filter housing was POORLY DESIGNED. I WILL get it installed, and make this work (the tank has UL listing which I INSIST on and is built in Taiwan, not china so quality is not likely an issue ), but it is poorly designed and poorly put together.

Mordern design. Easy installation. No maintenance

I don't usually write reviews on Amazon but for this one I really want to give a 5-star review. I like the design of faucet as well as the heater tank. Very easy to install. The tank has a big and clear screen to show the temperature. And this machine gives perfect temperature of water every time. At this price point no other product on the market (as far as I know) beats the value. Similar products from Insinkerator will charge you this price for just a matte black faucet, which is insane

Parts??

My plumber is delaying install cause he needs to figure out missing parts. With all the complaints I wish there was at least guidance of which additional parts are needed to purchase to just get it going … would be great if someone who’s gone through it can share!!

System Leak through faucet after use

While installation was a bit labor intensive due to not adequate instructions or parts, I did get it installed. Once it was install, it worked fine for a few days, after that it leaked excessively from the faucet. I reached out to Westbrass for support, but their website help is not working and they have ghosted me on email. Product will be going back.

Don’t buy!!! Parts missing/don’t fit

I agree with some of the recent reviews. I should have done that in the first place but just bought it without researching. This is the worst product and I wouldn’t want anyone to buy it. There’s a lot of missing pieces that you need to buy and the current pieces provided don’t even fit. For example the connections for the hoses to hot and cold do not fit. We went to hardware store multiple times and the employees said figuring out all the missing parts/ right pieces would take hours. There was nothing that quite fit and we brought our whole system in for them to inspect it… I also called customer service… not helpful!!! I got a really rude person telling me that they don’t provide the extra prices because it depends on what kind of sink you have?!? She proceeded to tell me some parts needed but when we actually went to the store to get them they don’t actually fit. The store said we’d need to pay $100 for the extra parts…. The instructions and manual are crap. Stay away from this product and company. Get the insinkerator brand and read the reviews
