Great idea, but poorly executed
I own cycling shoes with the same twist dial type lacing system and works great. However, with a heavy duty but still light backcountry XC ski boot, this dial type lacing just cannot be tightened enough. The only way you might be able to use this, is to tighten as much as possible, then walk around in boots, then tighten again as you will be able to do so again, repeat process over again, until they can't be subsequently tightened any further. However, this may work, though I was far from certain as to how well they'd stay tightened out on the trails, while actually skiing in them. Another big concern for me was how well this lacing system will hold up over the long run. As a result of this, I returned these boots before ever getting them out and on the trails. Workmanship on these seemed pretty good, in spite of concerns about its use of a rapid ratchetting lacing system. Ultimately these lacing systems may be able to work on XC or hiking boots, but will need to be designed and engineered to properly work with boots vs, them working fairly well with light duty footwear such as cycling shoes or sneakers.

Description Did Not Match
The description of this product did not match the product we received. It did not have the easy lace system as described and the boot attachment did not fit my skis as described. Very dissapointed.
