PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The Snap-On JH Williams EB-27T 5/8-Inch shoulder eyebolt has 11 threads per-Inch and has an overall length of 4 3/4-Inches. It is forged from the best quality carbon steel and is hardened and tempered to ensure increased strength and toughness to reduce liability and breakage. Shoulder eyebolts must be properly seated otherwise the working load must be reduced substantially. The eyebolt shanks should never be undercut or eyebolt shank diameter is reduced. To obtain greatest strength from an eyebolt, it must fit reasonably tight in the hole into which it is screwed to prevent unscrewing due to twist of cable. Does The Job!

This eyebolt is very durable as we used it to pick up pallets that are quite heavy. We have no way of getting a weight of the pallet but it is over 100# for sure. The threds are nicely formed and there are no sharp edges.

Must Have with a Kong Frog/Easyrig Setup

Works as a rear tow hook on a 2010 Audi A6.

I used this on my car for track days. I wanted something robust to add a point to attach a tow strap if needed in the rear. Threads match the stock location. I use the eye bolt that came with the car as a tow hook in the front. Now both ends have a solution.
