The balanced absorbency and tooth of the canvas board prevents sinking of oil colors and improves adhesion. Medium grain surface ideal for all techniques including heavier applications of color. Prepared for immediate use with oil water mixable oil alkyd and acrylic paints. Stretched by hand for correct tension and tailored corners and are triple coated with one coat of acid-free sizing and two coats of highly pigmented primer. Canvas laminated onto a high quality board with excellent stability.

Excellent Quality

This canvas board is of excellent quality. Nice surface for oils and a pleasure to apply paint to. It is very sturdy. Recently purchased from another online retailer who claimed theirs were thicker and sturdier than the competition, and best price. It was so cheaply made and flimsy. A low price tag wasn't a "good deal". The Winsor Newton canvas board is far, far superior than the competition!

My mistake

I needed a canvas. I bought this one thinking it was the same thing. It’s not. It’s thicker and wouldn’t work for the craft I was doing but I returned it and was refunded without problem

First experience with canvas board

Sorry my picture is a little graphic but it is what was requested. I was looking for canvas panel and accidently purchased canvas board. I am a new painter so i didnt even know such thing existed. But painting came out great still and buyer loves it. There is no type of hook or anything to hang it from on the back so you sort of have to install that yourself. Everything went great though.

Great board but weird defect on mine... others may be fine

While I like this board, there is a weird nodule on it. It’s coming from between the back of the board and the surface. The back is completely smooth, so I don’t know how this happened. I thought that I could paint over it, but it stands out now. I’ll be purchasing more in hopes this nodule doesn’t come with the others.

Every thing was OK was the product, but as I saw on the photo, I was expecting two canvases, but I just received one. It doesn't matter, because the seller didn't put the amount or the number of canvases on the description.

Perfect for my diamond painting

This was perfect for my diamond painting. I spray painted it then spray glued my completed diamond painting to it. Then I glued a hook to the backend it was perfect and durable. Love it! I wish there were bigger sized and different sizes. There are some diamond paintings I do that are 37 inches by 27.6 inches and bigger. So odd shapes. But this was perfect for the side of my painting I finished.

As has been pointed out, you receive a pack of one solitary board, even though it states that it's a 'Bulk Buy' and a '12-Pack' Don't buy.
