Good idea... not so good execution
It's been mentioned before that the latch is the weakest part of this. First, the latch LOOKS like you should pull on it. That's a problem because that's the last thing you want to do with it. Because if you pull hard enough on it then it comes away from the lock. And really that's part of the overall problem with this anyway isn't it? The latch should be very sturdy. It's the most important part. Here's what I'd do to make this better: 1. Fix the latch. The screws from the lock to the latch should be longer and stronger and really who needs the latch? It is just for fastening the lock. Just have something to screw the lock into. Shouldn't even be removable but part of the box itself. 2. Spring on the door. This is a nice to have. If there was a spring on the door then you could remotely unlock the door and that would have it spring open. Sometimes you may have more than one package arriving. First delivery person closed the box and then second is probably going to try to get in the box (and will break the latch).

Stopped working
The lock boxed stopped locking within 1 year. Happy Very disappointed because when it was functioning it was perfect.

Arrived missing main part
The item arrived at my home in a timely manner, but was missing the main locking unit that makes the product function as it's intended use.

Great product if...
Study box Locks well but... I'm having a continual issue with being able to use the app from anywhere. I have the bridge plugged in as directions note to & will not connect. If I'm right next to it, the app works fine. I have emailed Yale more than once with no reply from their customer service. Customer service sucks ans does not reach out, reduced to 1 star review due to this.

Don't buy is a piece of crap
This is the biggest waste of money there is the app won't let you regester spent 2 hrs on phone with tec support to get regestered now won't connect or reccognize its own product! Don't waste your money on this POS! I bought it as an elegant solution for packages to my vacation house in mexico is now a problem that i need to pay to $ return and get a partial refund again dont buy this get a drop box at least no agrivation trying to get it to work! Mechanical KISS no issues thats my solution save your money buy a lottery ticket is a better investment! At least there's a chance to win there million to 1 but is a chance!

Amazing
Bought the box to secure my parcels from the elements and porch pirates, it works as expected I primarily use it with HomeKit and get notifications when the box locks and unlocks and with delivery mode activated it locks as soon as the lid closes Highly recommend

Works as advertised - but the Battery in the smart lock is already low
Have used it twice and the battery is already dead
