GREAT LOADING PIN

I bought these for my cable pulley system. I wanted to get 2 that were the same size. They are tall and they are EASY to clip to. I love these pins. The ones I had before were hard to get the clip on and off. EXCELLENT

Does what it is supposed to do

I used this pin to create a weight pulley system that I can clip to my power rack. I’m quite happy with it. The hole and the provided carabiner could be a little larger and the pin would still have plenty of clearance for weight plates. Overall satisfied with this product but could use some minor improvements.

Works for what I need it for

I've used a couple times since I purchased. I mainly wanted the loading pin, pulley, and cable. The carabiners have been useful. I already had a top pulley system made from clothesline pulleys, coated cable, and accessories purchased at Home Depot for under $30. I've used this top system for over a decade and its very strong. I went ahead and gave Yes4All a try as a top pulley. It easily attached to the top of my power rack. It's decent, not as good as the HD system, but it will work as a start up for triceps pushdowns. I could play around and make the weight holder better, but there's no need. Overall, for what I need it for (a bottom pulley system), it works. Make note, to work one arm at a time, it will require about 100 lbs to hold the loading pin in place. For exercises using both arms (curls), it will take more weight to secure the loading pin. I didn't really need the rope, but I'll take an extra attachment. In the picture, it's beside an 25 year old, indestructible Harbinger.

Not the same as original purchase

I bought this item in 2019 and it was well made, weighing at 507g which is 1.12lb. The bar was thick and the welds looked strong. I just bought this item again - December 2022 - and it is not the same at all. The item is much thinner, lighter, and the weld looks weak. I am honestly nervous of putting too much load on this thing. Does not seem sturdy to me. You can see that it now weighs 352g which is about .78lb. That's about a .34lb difference in weight, which seems considerable. You can see from my images containing both the original I bought (left) and the new one (right). If you zoom in at the base and the top, you can see the weld on the original looks much better and that the material was much thicker. I use this to balance out equal weights on two pulleys, so they need to equal the same weight. Now I'm not sure if I should just live with it or return it. We'll see how well it holds up over time.

Good for pinch grip training

I bought this loading pin to use in conjunction with a pinch grip block from Fritcticious. It’s an excellent tool to add to my training. The only downside is that my regular climbing carabiners do not fit in the hole, so I have to use the carabiner that was supplied with the loading pin.

High Quality and Smooth Pulleys

The pulleys and cables are high quality. They're the perfect length and the pulleys don't squeak when you use them. I haven't had to grease them and they've been used a lot.

Perfect addition to a home gym!

With the Coronavirus epidemic still going strong after 6 weeks of quarantine, I needed to amp up my workouts by including some cable work along with my dumbell and resistance band exercises. So I went to the local hardware store and came out 5 minutes later with 4 pulleys, 30 feet of 1/8 inch nylon covered cable, and all the bolts, screws, and cable clamps I needed for my project, except for a couple of loading pins. I have ordered Yes4All products in the past from Amazon, and despite not being a large name brand company, I have found that their products are extremely well built and tough as nails. So I ordered a pair of the 1 inch diameter pins. They arrived right on time and I have used and abused them for 6 weeks now. The black paint tends to get scratched up towards the top, but my home gym is not designed for looks. With a relatively small one car garage, I have to concern myself with saving space and go for functionality. These pins fit the bill perfectly. You can load either Olympic plates or 1 inch diameter plates because of the wide base and you cannot dent them! The heavy duty carabiner is extremely stiff when disconnecting from a cable but Man, it is super strong. I can do lat pulldowns with 100 pounds on each side and the carabiner has not broken or deformed in the slightest. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Works well

So far I've used this thing and love it. I have a lat pull down and rope attachment. The cable is attached to my power rack and for rope pull downs its perfect. For lat pull downs i have to sit on the floor and basically have the plates land between my legs during reps. I had to get a little creative for some work outs but the equipment has not given me any issues. I've only used 85lbs total for reps and havent had issues with the swinging or obvious wear.

Flimsy

I had purchased this loading pin because it appeared more robust than others on Amazon. However, item was made of thinner materials than photos shown on Amazon website. I was not confident it would support the addition of multiple weight plates and I did not feel safe using it. Returned item immediately.
