Arcing! Won't work for high voltage low impedence fencing
Might work great for lower voltages, or those temporary power ropes... But these were not insulated well enough for my standard steel electric fencing. Electricity was arcing (jumping) to the t-posts on almost every post. I use the same brand with the design of greater distance from the pole and they work fine but if you want to use these pin-locks (which I prefer) I'd suggest a different brand. I ended up using a competitors (not from Amazon) that was similarly priced and worked great!

I ordered this product twice: First time I received ...
I ordered this product twice: First time I received a bag with the right label but the contents of the bag were completely different and not what I can use. Second time I order it I received the right item in the right bag but the bag was already opened and there were only 22 of the 25 clips in it. I give up. I guess I have to live with substandard customer support.

THIS INSULATOR WILL KILL YOUR THUMBS AND FINGERS TRYING TO GET THE BACK LOCK GRIP AROUND THE BACK OF THE POST ! IT NEEDS A LONGER TAB ADDED TO THE BACK FIN GRIP SO YOU CAN PULL IT ON TIGHT POSTS. NOTE SOME "T' POST HAVE DIFFERENT BACK FIN WIDTHS THAT WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS INSULATOR AT ALL ! ALSO, YOU WILL NEED A CHANNEL LOCK PLIER TO GET IT OFF THE BACK FIN ONCE INSTALLED, BECAUSE AGAIN IT HAS NOT TAB TO GET AHOLD OF TO REMOVE IT. POOR PRODUCT FUNCTION RESEARCH WORK HERE BY THE MFG PERSON.
