PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Air Lift RideControl kits fit many popular vehicles with leaf springs including 1/2-ton and mini pickups, full-size and minivans, as well as SUVs. Both front and rear applications are available for some vehicles. RideControl adjustable air springs provide up to 2,000 lbs. of load-leveling capacity, simply inflate when carrying a heavy load from 5-100 psi and deflate to the minimum 5psi when riding light. Each kit includes everything you need to install the system including vehicle specific brackets, air springs, hardware and more. Our end caps are made of an ultra-high strength nylon composite which is as strong as steel, weighs less, and will never rust or corrode. Eliminate these common load and towing problems for good when you use Air Lift air springs: Sag – Proper weight distribution to all tires improves steering, braking and tire wear. This is especially important while towing: adjust the air springs to accept the tongue weight of the trailer or other heavy loads. Headlight aim – Only level and stable vehicles provide safe and proper headlight aiming – critical for night driving safety. Rough ride – Air Lift's progressive spring rate soaks up bumps, keeping tires on the road for better handling. Bottoming out – Air Lift springs restore normal ride height when heavily loaded or towing, reducing suspension wear and eliminating crashing on bumps. Sway and body roll – Air springs increase spring rate and vastly improve vehicle stability. When towing trailers, the air springs permit precise vehicle height adjustment for exact alignment, reducing trailer sway. Less roll and sway means a safer and more comfortable ride. Porpoising – Pickup trucks, even those that don't squat when loaded, can begin to "porpoise" vertically when towing heavy trailers. Progressive rate air springs dramatically reduce this problem for a safer, more comfortable ride. Air Lift Company warrants that the RideControl air spring system will be free from defects in workmanship or materials for the lifetime of the vehicle of original installation. This does not include installation or other service charges for replacement. Exclusive 60 Day Ride Satisfaction Guarantee: Air Lift guarantees you'll be happy with the improvement in road comfort and load handling. If you're not satisfied, you may remove the product and return it to your dealer for a full refund of your purchase price within the first 60 days after your purchase. FROM THE MANUFACTURER Air Lift adjustable air helper springs level your load, and give your truck, van, or SUV a safer, more comfortable ride. Air springs are easy to install between your existing springs and the vehicle frame. Just add air when towing or hauling a heavy load, and reduce air pressure when unloaded; they are fully adjustable for a great ride. Air Lift air springs eliminate sag, sway, and bottoming out. They are made with rugged, durable components for long, reliable service. Air Lift RideControl kits fit many of our most popular customer vehicles with leaf springs, including ½ ton and mini pickups, full-size and mini vans, and SUVs. Application Information This RideControl kit, number 59530, fits the 2000 to 2006 Toyota Tundra, 2-and 4-wheel drive. This kit can be easily installed in around 1 hour. RideControl Many of today's most popular light-to-medium duty trucks, vans, and SUVs are built for a more comfortable, car-like ride. That's fine when the vehicle is lightly loaded. But add a trailer, or all the things people haul for work and pleasure, and the vehicle sags and the ride suffers. Fully adjustable, RideControl kits keep your truck, van, or SUV level and riding comfortably with no load, loaded, or towing on any road condition. Air adjustable from 5 to 100 PSI, Air Lift RideControl air helper springs have up to 2,000 pounds of leveling capacity, right up to the manufacturer's recommended Gross Vehicle Weight Rating. Your RideControl kit also includes quick connecting, easy-to-use air fittings. All kits are engineered to be easy to install and come with Air Lift's exclusive alignment tool and a fully illustrated instruction manual. Why Air? Factory suspensions must compromise between ride comfort and load hauling capacity. Soft factory suspensions can't carry heavy loads, and heavy steel springs ride rough, especially when the vehicle is unloaded. Only air springs can support your heavy loads and provide a great ride. Air Lift adjustable air springs solve these common problems by allowing you to tune your suspension under all load and road conditions. Just add air when towing or hauling and then remove air for a softer ride when unloaded. Suggested Accessories For maximum convenience and leveling on-the-go, nothing beats an Air Lift on board air compressor system. Very happy.
I pull a 25 foot 5th wheel with an 06 Toyota Tundra. I was talking to a friend that had mentioned he just had placed airbags on his truck and it had made a huge difference while towing his trailer. I had searched the web for airbags for my make and model and was only able to find a great deal on Amazon. I had read the reviews on this product and found most of them helpful so I decided to buy them. The day that they had come in I read the instructions and thought that it would be no big deal to put them on. i had did my measurements and had taken off the drivers side rear tire. That is when I had realized I will not be able to put these on where they need to go per the instructions due to my 5th wheel hitch brackets where in the same place that the airbag brackets needed to be. I had commented on a review that was installed with a 5th wheel but there was no luck getting a reply back from the reviewer. I had made contact with Air Lift and was told that there was no way around the airbag brackets and that they needed to be installed in location that instructions state. I thought all was lost and that I had spent money on these airbags for nothing. I had gone down to a buddy wielding shop to see what he had to say about the install. For $30 my buddy was able to make an extension to the 5th wheel brackets so that I will be able to relocate them so that I will be able to install the airbag brackets in the correct location. With the help of my buddy install for both airbags took less them 2 hours. First time pulling my 5th wheel with these airbags was amazing. The ride was not as rough as it was without them, I can tell right away that this made a big difference while pulling. I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend them if pulling a trailer!

Great product. For 06 Tundra, modify instructions
1st side took 3.5 hours. 2nd side only an hour. Instructions say to return to "normal riding height" but must have "1/4 inch clearance for guide plate". On 06 Tundra, can't do both. On the 1st side, I sat there for quite a while going over the instructions, looking at what I'd done. It boils down to the fact that the air spring is a little too tall for the vehicle at "normal riding height". Just take a second jack and push up at the point where the leaf spring meets the frame until you get the 1/4" clearance needed. Other than that adjustment, the product is just what I needed to bring my truck back level when towing. Even with a weight distribution hitch, I had too much sag. It is because my truck is set up to ride as comfortable as a car, which it does, and I added leveling spacers to the front. During the initial leak test, I rode around empty with 30lbs in each air spring (as instructed). I hardly noticed they were there. Very satisfied at this point.

Does not fit TRD or wide tires!
The kit would have been great I'm sure, but I have a TRD truck and the wider tires will come in contact with the mounts. The only way to make it work would have been to get wheel spacers or smaller rims and tires. Neither works for me, not even sort of. I've returned it, and instead I'm ordering a Hellwig 991 helper spring setup, which is cheaper, and no air required. There are other options available too, including smaller spring rates from Hellwig and Roadmaster helper springs. Also, I have read that this setup is not ideal for regular articulation because of the close clearances. If your tires are larger than stock or you may go larger in the future, this kit may not be right for you. I’m bummed it didn’t work for me, I love air ride suspension. I only took a star off because it didn’t fit. I didn’t think it would be fair to give it a negative rating because I have a less common truck, but Amazon should label this as “not for TRD and/or oversized tires”.

Great add on
Really like these. Seeing the truck sit normal rather then sag is great. Makes towing much easier. Great kit

Good stuff.
So far so good. Installed today in about 2 hrs. Read instructions before starting install. I jacked the truck up and took the wheels off before realizing i needed a couple dimensions. Learn from my mistake. Was really straightforward install with good instructions. I used the Air Lift Tee also but may end up splitting it off again if it doesnt settle right. Right now the right side is half inch higher than left. Coming from a machinist (me) use a sharp drill bit. Bronze oxide coated cobalt is good for this. Will drill through the frame like butter. Watch out for brake lines on drivers side. On 1st gen Tundra the tire clearance is brought up a lot. I run zero offset 17x9 with 285/70 17 tires on a 2005 double cab. Lots of clearance. That was my main concern so i wanted to mention it.

Best price!
Called a local supplier. Got quoted over $400 without install. Save your time. I shopped around, this is the cheapest you will find this product new. Install took about one hour. 2006 Tundra: hardest part is getting the nuts on on the inside of the frame. Gained about 2 inches. Levels ride height with my 800cc 4wheeler at about 40psi. Ride is much smoother. Why are you still reading this? Order it.

A necessity if you tow or carry heavy loads
Good quality kit. Instructions are pretty straightforward, takes about 3-4 hours to install assuming you are the handy type and not intimidated by working on cars and trucks. Some drilling of the frame is required for the Tundra kit, but a sharp metal drill bit goes through pretty quickly. Company seems to be on top of the QC. This kit is direct shipped and they delayed shipment of my kit from the factory for a couple of days to make some upgrades to the parts that they said they had problems with. I got the kit to help with towing my Airstream trailer. Without the springs the trailer had quite a bit of porpoising going over dips in the road (yes I do have a WD hitch). The air springs did what they were supposed to, they stiffened up the rear suspension well enough that it wasn't nearly as noticeable. All in all, money well spent.
