Useful for Soup, Not as Good for Pasta

This is a useful stock pot for a small family or a single person. But I don't like it for cooking pasta because it is so small and I have singed my hands a couple of times from the steam and have had trouble emptying the pot completely. Believe it or not, I have gone back to using my wider 5 1/2 quart Dutch oven for that, even though it is much heavier. I like this for making small recipes of soup, chili, or applesauce.

All-Clad Quality

I love this All-Clad 3-quart casserole pot. It cooks everything perfectly: pasta, sauces, soups. Cleans up well too. It’s the perfect size when cooking for 2-3 people.

Perfect all-around pot

All-Clad pots have been in my kitchen for decades, and are great for their shape, even heat transmission, and durability (Exception: just don't buy any of their non-stick products, because they don't last, and you will feel bad to throw out very expensive cookware that's in great shape except for the nonstick coating). I bought this latest pot because my wife and I were continually reaching for the same pot, and we clearly needed a second one. I found it on Amazon at half price, supposedly used, but it came in the original box looking brand new. Needless to say, we are very pleased.

Wow.. just wow!

This 3 quart stock pot is thick and sturdy and looks like it will last a lifetime. What made me purchase it are the short handles. I absolutely hate all the plethora of long handles on the stockpots these days. I am still waiting for the 4 quart to be restocked. Please All Clad - do not discontinue the 4 quart!! Made in the USA.

Excellent Investment - Very few is any Kitchen Utensils match the AllClad Make and Feel

This is my favourite go to every day cooking pot. And it is a pleasure to use. The size is perfect for a week day meal. However, would suggest that don’t let AllClad be your first set of kitchen pots and pans. To appreciate how good AllClad utensils really are, use a few cheaper brands and makes before. Once you are comfortable with the kitchen and then move to AllClad, the experience is rewarding. Used steel, non-stick and cast iron utensils from various brands over the years. But of all, AllClad stainless steel is a pleasure to cook with, in terms of performance, handling and ascetics. If AllClad is your first and only set, you may not be able to compare it with the lesser quality utensils available. As with most of my purchases, strongly recommend purchasing through Amazon, as AllClad is a fairly expensive investment and Amazon without doubt is the best online buying experience, for peace of mind and excellent customer service, if there are any issued with your orders. Had a couple of AllClad items delivered with manufacturing defects and some lost items. Amazon was excellent in resolving all of the issues. Very Happy with Amazon and AllClad.
