Doesn't suck well
Barely use it. I think a bucket works best

Must be a veteran siphoniner to use this product.
Too hard for a beginner to use. Hose way too short and their is no siphon pump bulb so you got to generate the force for the siphon action with heavy arm thrusts to get it going AND once you get it going it pumps too fast BUT for tank water changes that works to your advantage as long as you remove the fish first. It will empty your 30 gallon tank really fast with the fish too, ooops!

Easy to use, durable, fast suction
It’s easy to use, durable, and fast suction which makes changing water for a 55 gallon to be done in 15 minutes or so.

Good quality siphon
This siphon has good suction. The hose is larger than my former siphon so the time spent in siphoning my aquarium water is reduced.

Works Well if Fish Tank is Filled to the Top
Excellent suction for great gravel vacuuming. Back and fourth motion to commence draining of full tank works well for me. I gave it four stars because, if the suction is interrupted after water level is lowered by several inches, it is virtually impossible to restart the suction using back and fourth motion. I need to draw down at least 10 gallons for a proper water change, and so, need to stop the flow for each bucket fill. I resolved the issue by purchasing an inline water valve (the type typically used in aquaponics) and installing it midway along the drain tube. Now I can shut the valve when the bucket is filled, which does not interrupt the suction.

Could Never Get the Siphon started!
Hard to rate since it didn't work! Was never able to get the siphon working, which unfortunately made it useless! Tried attaching each side of the tubing to check for a more secure fit, but that didn't work. Air bubbles were always at the top where the tubing & siphon were attached. When trying to pump the water through the tubing, 2 small blue plastic pieces floated to the bottom of the tank. It's a great concept, if it works!
