All Caldera reusable Pet Therapy Gel is Made in the USA and can be applied either hot or cold. Caldera Large Carpal Pet Therapy Wrap is designed for right and left legs. Includes: One Large Carpal Wrap, one Large Front Boomerang strap, one Large Anchor strap, and one Large Carpal/Tarsal & Elbow Pet Therapy Gel pack. Instructions: 1. Attach the front two short Boomerang Velcro straps around dog collar. 2. Connect together front Boomerang and Anchor strap quick release buckles. Fasten Anchor around the opposite leg being treated. 3. For treated leg, attach Boomerang strap quick release buckle into Pet Therapy Wrap outside buckle. Fasten the Pet Therapy Wrap around the carpal joint. Adjust and pull all straps for secure fit. Note: Adjust wrap for skintight fit on treated leg to help ensure benefits of hot/cold therapy. Missing gel pack!

Missing gel pack! I needed this really bad for my dog who has a soft tissue injury. And it’s missing the gel pack! What I need most! And I can’t return this item! I will never purchase from this place again!!! What a rip off!!!

Carpal Wrap for Large Dog - Hot Cold Therapy

This is a very expensive way to get heat or cold therapy to a large dogs front leg. The wraps are made very well of high quality material and not super hard to get in place but I have a bit of an issues with it attaching to a dogs collar the way it does. Especially with the larger dog wraps the straps are long and could easily get tangled in something and then present a choking hazard since it's attached to the dogs collar. I guess it's possible that the velcro would release but I do not feel comfortable hoping for the best with that. To me they should either include a break away collar or use some sort of separate harness. I think a harness would lend itself better to attach these wraps and hold them in place. Considering the expense I think I'd rather pay a few dollars more and have a harness that would be more secure than these long tether straps. It's not hard to get these on, but I'd suggest watching the video or having your vet instruct you. Once you know what you are doing it's rather simple. To me although these are high quality well made items I feel like the design is not as well thought out as it could be and quite expensive for straps, buckles velcro, a pocket, and a cold/heat pack. It fits, it works, but it doesn't seem to stay very well

First of all, I have the same type of dog in the advertisement so I thought that was kind of cool. That dog is a much better model than mine though! Savage kind of acted like I was torturing him putting this thing on. For reference, Savage is a German Shorthaired Pointer and is about 55 lbs. The large seemed to fit. I think this would only work for a dog who had to stay off of his injured foot and was kenneled, because just walking around it did not stay in place and eventually he walked himself out of it. I also find the tightening/loosening of the straps to be clunky and difficult, which is probably part of why it didn't stay in place correctly. I followed the instructions on heating up the pad and 2 minutes was entirely too long, it started popping and was SO hot, I had to let it cool before putting It in the holder. This is a great idea for injured pups but it doesn't seem to be made exactly right.

Overpriced and tricky

Poor Scottie has ballerina feet and he definitely gets a lot of swelling in his joints. He's an older dog and I was hoping to find something that could take a little of the swelling down. This kit is very pricey especially when you just get a single pack. It's a bit confusing to put on which can be frustrating for both you and your pet. I don't feel like the directions were easy to follow and it took a lot of adjusting to get him comfortable enough. If you have a patient dog this might be alright but I wouldn't recommend for younger dogs because they might chew it off with how bulky it is.

Size Is Off

I ordered a Large to use on a 75 pound German Shepard. It is too small. Even adjusted to its fullest, the strap is so short that the dog cannot dully extend her leg. I tried adjusting it various ways. I ended up trying just the wrap but without the strap, that cane right off. So basically .... useless.

Keep an eye on your dog

Make no mistake, this is well made and designed with the anatomy of a dog in mind but if you have a dog prone to chewing, be sure to keep a close eye on your dog at all times. This fit my hound fine, it's well made and the idea is good but the function limited by the attitude of the animal in question.

If it could ever stay on, . . but it simply does not. this is unreliable wrap support for our retriever.

Fits a Doberman sized dog

I have a 70lb Doberman who is in very good health, however, she is getting older and has needed a couple of surgeries. This wrap fits her well. It comes with a hot/cold pack which is awesome and keeps her comfortable. The product is very well made and I have not had any negative issues with it.
