Our patent pending Pet Therapy line is customized and patented for canine anatomy. We’ve modified the gel formula in our pet line for prolonged effectiveness. All Caldera reusable Pet Therapy Gel is Made in the USA and can be applied either hot or cold. Pet Therapy Gel is latex free, non-toxic, non-hazardous, microwave and freezer safe, and remains pliable when frozen. Heating and freezing instructions are on each gel pack. Caldera Medium Universal Pet Therapy Wrap Carpal / Elbow is uniquely designed to work on both the carpal and elbow areas as well as both the right and left sides. Includes: One Medium Carpal/Elbow Therapy Wrap, one Medium Front Boomerang, one Medium Anchor and one Medium Universal Pet Therapy Gel pack. Instructions: 1. Attach the two short Boomerang Velcro straps around the dog collar. 2. Connect together front Boomerang and Anchor strap quick release buckles. Fasten Anchor around the opposite leg being treated. 3. CARPAL For treated leg, attach Boomerang strap quick release buckle into Pet Therapy Wrap outside buckle. Fasten the Pet Therapy Wrap around the carpal joint. Adjust and pull all straps for secure fit. Note: Adjust wrap for skintight fit on treated leg to help ensure benefits of hot/cold therapy. or 3. ELBOW For treated leg, attach Boomerang strap quick release buckle into Pet Therapy Wrap outside buckle. Fasten the Pet Therapy Wrap around the elbow joint. Adjust and pull all straps for secure fit. Note: To avoid rubbing on the dog’s inside leg areas be sure to position the inside buckle downward attaching to the Pet Therapy Wrap using the small Velcro tab located on the buckle. My old dog didn't like it at first but once he got used to it I think it really helped him feel a bit better. How easy it is to get on is going to depend greatly on your dog and mine fought me every step of the way and I still got it on him. He tried to chew it off at first but he didn't try very hard so I figure it must have been soothing to him in some way because he would have kept chewing otherwise. Doesn't stay in place. Vet wrap is easier
If you're using this on a dog who is lying down and not walking around or trying to be active, it will probably work as is. However, if you have a normal dog, they get up and walk or rearrange themselves on their bed. When that happens, this contraption slides and shifts and you end up doing everything again. Not a great plan for directed therapy needs. The gel pack thingy is actually not bad and it stays cold awhile. We tried this on two different dogs - a 95lb German Shepherd mix and a 35lb mixed breed. It didn't fit either dog well and I ended up going back to my regular method. I use vet wrap and wrap the gel pack around the area. It does slip after awhile, but vet wrap is super easy to re-do when needed and very inexpensive.

Middle of road when you factor it all in..
From human point of view ... pricey ...awkward to put on ...lightweight ....nice to have hot or cold option From Daisy's ....what is this? ....im kinda afraid to move ....geez i hope my friends don't see me in this ????????????

These wraps are a wonderful idea but very difficult to put into use. The fabric seems like high quality but the form and function are a fail.

Would be great with a little tweaking
This is a great concept and could be an easy 5 stars. But the ice needs to be held becaise it slips when he moves. For an older dog with arthritis or other issues with his legs this will be ideal once they fix a couple issues

Good for holding cold/warm packs in place on fur babies.
First off, this wrap comes with 1 small-medium-sized pack, which makes it easier to use and wear. Second, read the list of dog breeds that this fits, it is probably the most accurate way to size. Third, with cold/hot therapy, it is generally 20-30 minutes on ... 20-30 minutes off ... so it's probably a good idea to have another pack (especially if you are using the cold/freezer therapy). Lastly, this is meant for the elbow area; however, it call also be jerry-rigged to fit other parts of the body as needed (depending on the size of your dog and the size pack you buy). Also, as a suggestion, if your dog can't (or won't) wear this, I recommend laying/sitting down with your dog and simply holding the ice in place for the 20-30 minutes. Sometimes, after doing this a few times, it doesn't feel as strange, and then he/she will wear it on his/her own.

Hard to use, not so helpful!!
I don't like that this "Pet Therapy Wraps" .It is hard to set up and seem to be too purposed. The design can be way better. Pro!!! the gel bag that comes with it.
