Great loppers
Solidly built, sharp and cuts easily. Would be considered heavy for some users, but I need loppers that are sturdy for all the cutting I do and these get the job done.

Tough Durable Loppers
I rated it four stars because these loppers do have some down sides to them. It's hard to cut anything more then two inches, it requires repositioning the blade on the limb and a lot of muscle, but they can do it. Because the blade and jaw are thick forged steel, they tend to be a little heavy on the end. Which would wear you out quicker, then smaller / cheaper loppers that have replaceable blades and are not forged. But the upsides are, these things are tough, with the aforementioned forged steel blade and jaw, they will last for decades. With regular sharpening they will cut just as good as new, and hold there edge longer then other loppers. You can use either a flat file, orCorona's AC 8300 Sharpening Tool . They have heavy duty metal tubular handles, so don't worry about bending or breaking them when you give it some muscle. When it comes to stuff that's thicker then either 1.5" or 2", I just whip out the chainsaw to make my job easier. Remember, these are bypass loppers, not ratcheting type loppers. So they are going to take more muscle to cut through a thick limb. So to sum everything up... If you don't mind putting some muscle into them, and want a pair of loppers that will last for decades, then go ahead and buy them.

Heavy Duty and Made in Mexico
It is heavy duty as most have described. Mine says made in Mexico with parts from the US, China & Taiwan. It does cut live branches very easily but thicker dead branches or scrub bush bases then not. Regarding the Life Time Warranty; read the warranty carefully. It says it’s the lifetime of the tool which is very murky and the loppers have to be shipped back to the factory, assuming at the customer’s cost. Shipping a big and heavy item like this would be expensive and probably not worth it.

Heavy Duty work great but heavy to hold
These easily lop off a 3/4 inch branch. However, they are heavy. After a short while of lopping my shoulders need a break. I would buy them again though, since they are such a well made device.

Super heavy duty, so they are heavy.
It is larger than standard lopers head is big and heavy, well built, cuts right through branches almost 2 dia.

Doesn't bend
I have bought two loppers at Lowe's and both of them bent and were returned. These have been able to cut 1" hickory branches without bending. They are a bit on the heavy side if you have to carry them around for a few hours.

Do not cut as well as expected
Seem to be dull. I do not think anyone would have the strength to power through a 2" branch much less the 3" capacity it claims.

This is a toy poodle in a Doberman body
I bought several pieces of corona items recently after reading their boast of being used for orchards for a hundred years. Two of the three pieces live up to the hype. This one though, is just nothing special at all. I almost even returned it but at the end of the day, the price is good enough it’s not worth the hassle. It cuts small branches easy enough but anything over an inch and you’re going to get enough resistance it’s not practical. It’s of no greater quality and perhaps is even lower quality than what you are going to pick up at Home Depot for less. The giant beak is so promising because it can fit around pretty big branches but it has no hope whatsoever of cutting them. I should also mentioned I’m a fairly strong person, I can apply strength to the point the handles start bending with no further progress on cutting through a branch. Pros: 1. Looks real serious Cons: 1. The looks are a lie.
