Hot red pan! One cautionary note . . .

This is beautiful! And really big. The pan part goes up to 400 degrees in the oven. I haven't used it yet, but I am disappointed that although it is non-stick it says it will rust if you don't dry it properly. I guess non-stick doesn't mean rust proof! I thought I had escaped that common problem with paella pans. I'm going to try it out anyway. It's too gorgeous to send back!

My Portuguese mother approves!

My mom came out to visit for my birthday and I requested paella as my special dinner. Well, she forgot her well-seasoned paella pan. I purchased this as a quick fix but she was skeptical. After cooking the paella, she said it was a top notch pan. The rice cooked evenly over the stove and it was so easy to clean. Guess who's getting this pan for Christmas?

Good pan, and the lid is a plus

This is a decent pan. The coating on it is thin, and easy to scratch, so be careful with metal utensils. Otherwise, it's a good size, and you can get a good paella using the pan. I like having the lid to keep the paella warm

Perfect Size, and a LID!!

Great Paella Pan. You don't find many with lids. This is great to put in the oven to keep warm with the lid, so the Paella doesn't dry out. Also great size for other dishes like roasted lemon chicken thighs which I made last night!!

this pan was a disappointment from the start ... I braised pork chops and apple slices which turned out lovely and delicious but the pan immediately stained ... inside and out ... my second use was more of the staining but also stuck this time ... the non stick is really thin and easily scratched ... return is difficult because I do not live close to a UPS return station ... I do not recommend purchasing this pan ...
