Easy to do but..

It's very easy to do, but ran out of the peach color for the face. Luckily I had some left over from another latch hook

Great product

Absolutely loved this item... Only complaint I had was the preprinted design makes it difficult to do especially if it's not lined up completely. Plus not very user friendly for anyone colorblind... Prefer the old print outs that had different shapes for different colors... Easier for colorblind people to do them!

Sloppy printing, but fun to do

Fun kit to do, I just wish the printing on the mat was a little neater because there's many lines that have half one color and half another color and you're never sure which color is supposed to be there and you end up needing to go back and correct it when it looks wonky. Some kits I've done have actually come with a sheet guide as well which would be helpful in this case, but unfortunately it didn't come with one. If you don't mind figuring out which colors go where several times, then this kit is definitely a must because it turns out super cute.

Super cute but a little rough to work with

Made for a birthday gift, the product turned out very cute. Looks very much like the picture. The canvas and yarn was a little rough and harder to work with than other brands I've tried.

Hook Not Included

I bought this for my college son for Christmas. I buy little small things and the kids get to open one present a day. This is cute and would have been great if the hook was included, but it wasn't. 3 stars because now I have to ship him a hook. If I wouldn't have preshopped for Christmas early I could have returned it. Very small return window.

not great for beginners but OK overall

i think i got this product after someone had returned it. a couple of the yarn latches were already done. thankfully they’re easy to take out which i did. i’ve never done a kit like this that had the colors on the canvas - kind of challenging but also makes it easier. i just really wish that there was also a paper diagram. i haven’t finished so unsure if i’ll have enough yarn (have seen people mention this).

Yarn too thick. Be difficult for a child's hands or a woman my age

I liked the print on the canvas. Easy to distinguish which color to use. I disliked the yarn. Too thick and difficult to manipulate through the hook. You should include a latch hook with a latch hook rug kit btw. Undecided if I want to go through the hassle of returning. Nice image though.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL

I have done latch hooking cor decades, but never had anything so horrible to work with. The canvass is painted, which makes the texture extremely rough. The yarn is nearly impossible to pull through - in spite of my 3 different hook designs. The canvass TORE a hole rendering it impossible to fix or complete my project. UPDATE... I purchased plain, additional canvas to transfer the pattern on a 12x12 block. There wasn't even enough yarn to complete the project!!! This is totally unacceptable!! Hours and weeks of work for naught!! Choose another project. This was the worst, on every level.

Fine but incomplete

I liked the kit but one of the colors was insufficient to complete the pattern so I had to improvise.

Some what alright

Didn’t come with proper instructions that would help with the colors on the canvas. Over haul it took me awhile to finish had a hard time figuring out which color went where in the end it came out great. It also doesn’t come with enough blue to finish the background I had to ask my sister for some extra blue from her latch hook yarn she had left luckily for me she had the right shade so I could finish. And it don’t come with a latch hook luckily my sister had extras and was kind enough to give me one.

Great design but not enough of on colour to finish without changing the design and hoping there will be enough of another colour to finish
