Bought for undersink hook-up for our new frig water/ice during our kitchen reno ...

I will never again use a pierce/saddle valve for my frig hook-ups. I added an under sink 1/4" water line valve on the cold water supply under the sink. Used this Eastman 1/4" 20' water supply line through the floor, across under the kitchen to the frig and punched up into the wall behind the frig, where I hooked it to a shut-off in a Eastman wall outlet (with hammer arrestor). I used a 6' Eastman supply line from the wall outlet valve to the back of the frig. Flexible and coils easily for moving the frig away from the wall. I really like this set-up. Looks clean and professional. The best part is that I never realized how restrictive the pierce/saddle valves can be. With this set-up, the water pressure at in-door water dispenser is much stronger than you get through a pierce/saddle valve.

So far so good; 10 year burst warranty

No complaints. Some people complained of the taste... but I tasted the water and it tasted fine to me. Install was pretty easy... remember not to overtighten... just hand-tighten and then do 1/2 a turn with a wrench. I received my hose in early April 2022 and it had a date of 2021-11-09 which I assume must be when it was manufactured. It says the hose was made in Taiwan and was reinforced and packaged in China. This product says it is guaranteed not to burst for 10 years, but otherwise has 1 year warranty on defective materials and workmanship. The previous water line I had said to replace every 5 years and it did not have a stainless steel braid so it looked more plasticy and vulnerable. I replaced it with this line since it was about 5 years old and I wanted to prevent possible damage from it leaking or bursting.

Well made quality item

This hose did what it was supposed to and worked fine. Would recommend if you want to make sure there are no leaks if you’re installing a water filter behind you fridge like I did

No leaks, no issues

Used to connect the water line for my ice maker to the water supply. Screwed on easily, and no leaks, so it has done everything I've asked of it.

Is still working after two weeks.

We just replaced a 10 year old Samsung fridge that had a ruptured plastic waterline that flooded the house. The line that broke was part of the actual refrigerator, not the actual water feed line. However, our copper feed line was over 20 years old so I felt it best to replace it with a new stainless steel one. Before installing I ran tap water through it for a couple minutes to rinse away any contaminates and foul taste. I also followed the LG refrigerator directions to a tee on how to purge the new refrigerators water line and ice bucket. After about three days of use we no longer have any strange tastes in the water or ice. Our plumber said the hose we bought was fine for the job and he hadn't any complaints with foul tastes.

Good quality

This was a very good quality water line that I used for my furnace humidifier. The line originally installed burst twice, likely because it is hooked up to the hot water line but also very poor quality. Easy to install, strong fittings and it works perfectly. I guess time will tell be so far no issues.

I hesitated between a 5 foot and a 10 foot and I am glad I chose the 10 footer for a few dollars more. Solid feel, brass fittings solid as well. It went in without issues which is always the goal in plumbing. I would buy it again if I need another somewhere.

Works great if you follow the instructions and tips! Flush it for at least an hour! Works great!

I was hesitant based on what I read but it sounded like if I flushed it for a while before I installed it, that all would be fine, and it was! Hooked it up to water source and let it run for about an hour, used water for plants and garden outside so no waste issues there. Then hooked up to fridge, no plastic taste or scent in water or ice for any of the 5 people in our house who use it. About half the price the orange box wanted to charge... and I got it the next day so thanks Amazon Prime! Dave
