Well thought out

Several features make this my best choice. Not visible in text or picture, back wiring is easy for hot and neutral -- ground not so much. Ground opening (but not blade openings) is countersunk, making plug-in easier than a completely flat face. A small chamfer around the outlets makes them look better than completely flat faces. Mounting screw retention is better than more aggressive retention on others. Insertion of correct plugs is very smooth and easy right from the start. (Others have very difficult insertion until broken in.) Durability is unknown.

Electrifying!

I bought this outlet on Amazon becasue it costs about the same or only slightly more than a cheaper brand would have cost at the local hardware store. This one appeared from the picture and description to be better made, and does seem to be. It was a breeze to install, as described, and gives a much better connection than the old outlet, so it doesn't heat up like our old one did (the old one actually cracked apart when removing, from having been overheated). Plus this Cooper is rated for 20 amps, which I figured would give better conductivity and also some leeway when using with slow-blow fuses on the 15 amp circuit it's hooked to. Since I already had other items I wanted to order, this brought it up over $25 for free shipping, which was a plus!

Outlets work, hard to install

All of these 20amp outlets I purchased worked just fine. The install was difficult though, as there is almost no space around the terminal screws to allow the stripped wire to slide under the screw head (and the screws don't back all the way out). I ended up using the terminals on the back of the outlet instead, because I just couldn't squeeze the wires around the screws. otherwise they look great and work just fine.
