Best Charcoal

This charcoal has to be one of my favorites. It lights easily, has great flavor. And will last forever. This bag has plenty in it, and I grill at least once a week

Lots of hand selected tree bark, crumbs and lump coal

The bad news Lots of hand selected tree bark, disappointing dust and tiny chips crumbs, and lump coal. The good news it does not have any hard wood flooring in the bag makes cave man happy and did not need to forage for firewood with free shipping from Amazon. P.S. paid only 1us dollar per pound would buy again may get lucky next time.

For what I'm using it for, it works just fine. I'm not cooking with it. I crush it up to use it to do color case hardening.

GOOD SIZE & BURNS WELL

The two bags I have now used had decent size chunks for my Kamado Joe Classic. The charcoal did spark quite a lot when lighting with a torch, so wear a apron to protect your clothes. It does burn long and hot and I especially like that there is little ash to dispose of and that the bag and box arrived CLEAN!

Where's the LUMP?? - - I feel cheated!

I was UN-pleasantly surprised by the charcoal dust they sold me as LUMPS. I have not reached the bottom of the bag yet but the top 1/4 so far is very small pieces, not at all lumps. See attached pix. I want my money back since I can't use this stuff, it'll fall right through the grill. Indeed I feel cheated.
