Solid
A solid mount for wall installation. I wanted a secure mount for a sidewall next to my kitchen. I didn't want just a hook because I was afraid it could easily be bumped into and fall. This bracket does not come with mounting screws which, if you think about it does make sense since the manufacturer has no way of knowing what kind of wall the bracket will be mounted to. Such as drywall, brick, solid wood, hollow wall paneling, etc. All of which require different types of wall anchors. The liability is on the installer. One annoyance I had was with the clasp. It is shipped flat then has to be "formed" to wrap around the extinguisher. It was difficult to make this curve enough to fit. The clasp fits very tight and I think it would be better if the manufacturer would make it about 1/4" to 3/8" longer. Other than that, it's a solid mount that keeps the extinguisher close by, off the floor and at a height that everyone can easily reach.

Extinguisher mount.
This extinguisher mounts easily to a wall; and more importantly, holds the extinguisher firmly while releasing easily if needed quickly.

Put your extinguisher in plain sight
I love these. The clasp is good and sturdy and they mount to the wall quickly. The release can be sharp and quick if you aren't careful removing the extinguisher from the unit, but you really do want something that releases quickly in an emergency.

Missing mounting screws
I rate this good but however missing pieces which made it had to mount. I bought this bracket to mount my fire extinguisher in my fire truck. When I received the product it was missing the screws to mount it. So after another trip back to town to find the right screws I was able to mount.

Feel very sturdy. Don't like the metal strapping I have to bend around the unit.
They feel very sturdy. I don't like the fact I have to bend the strap around the extinguisher itself. I am installing 5 of these in an apartment building.

Good quality and great latch strap system
Several reviews complain about latch. It’s actually so easy I’m surprised others have had issue.

No mounting screws! Truly necessary?
This thing does what its supposed to, but doesn't come with any mounting hardware. How hard would it be really to include 2 or 4 self tapping screws. Plus, the packaging is sort of screwy; just a cardboard sleeve over the flat part with no 'protection' for the 'prongs' at the top. I actually sort of bought this mistakenly - turns out I don't need it. Most fire extinguishers of this size come with some sort of mount pre-attached to them (usually with no mounting screws either. . . ) but at least that way you KNOW that the mount is the right size. . . . If you had a 'rogue' extinguisher lying around that you needed to mount - go for it, but otherwise, just stick with the mounts that come with the small kidde type extinguishers in this size.

Works but a bit of junk
This is quite a disappointment. The bracket appears sturdy but the strap is not. There's not much anyone can do because it's about the only thing available to hang your First Alert fire extinguisher on a wall. There's also no screws or fasteners that come with it. This lack of "completeness" always affects how I see a product. I don't see this one very well. It works. It'll mount on the wall (if you have fasteners) and it'll hold the extinguisher. No more, no less. There's not much that can be done to make something like this pretty but First Alert could have included screws.
