Easy to install/set up.

Our carbon monoxide detector died a couple weeks ago and it was the old model of this one with the thermostat. So I just ahead and purchased the same one. And two extras since there has to be one on each floor.

Can use on tabletop, has temp readout

I bought this because I forgot to add a date to the back of my old CO monitor. I didn’t want to take a chance in the other one not working, so bought this as a secondary. I keep it in the bedroom on a nightstand, love it. It’s very nice looking and keeps a temperature readout on the front.

Use for traveling

In the last couple of months we have all heard of people dying in hotel rooms from CO poisoning. I now carry one in my suitcase and use at hotels/ B&Bs etc. Easy to pack and use. Here is a product suggestion: would be great to incorporate a travel alarm clock!

I got this from being a little paranoid on going on a road trip where I was going to some motels that were a little slummy and I’m the middle of nowhere. My boyfriend and I went out day drinking and then checked into our hotels. I remember we both started getting headaches and were like oh we should take a nap. This thing went off shortly afterwards. Once I moved it outside it stopped. Put it inside it started. Guess there was something wrong with the gas fireplace. I also learned flames should burn blue if it’s gas (kind of dumb of me to not know!) Feel like things could have gone a lot worse and I’m glad I bought this even though I thought I was just being a big ol worry wart. Also the temp clock is nice to have.

Seems to do what it’s supposed to. I bought two, one for my son and one for us.
