Good quality but LARGE
This was a great quality product, but it was very large which is great for a classroom or homeschooling room with a big whiteboard but was too big for our tiny whiteboard. Also, I really wished there were more hundreds and thousands included in the set for my 3rd grader to use for his 3 and 4 digit addition/subtraction math problems.

Very Useful in the Classroom
I like the size of this magnetic base ten block set. It makes it easy for me to demonstrate modeling for my students. I would have liked to have a few more flats (100s) as they'd be useful when working with three digit numbers. This is the reason I only gave three stars for versatility. I'd even be okay if they were available for purchase separately. The one thing I really don't like about them is the color of the unit cubes. They're yellow. They can be difficult to see on the whiteboard. In the photo they are at the very top of my middle whiteboard. A different color option is an easy remedy for this.

Not impressed by it
My kid love it! But for me I’m not that impressed because I thought it was actual blocks. It’s more like peel off stickers

Great for the Classroom
I teach 2nd grade, and I love to use these to demonstrate in my classroom. My students also love to use them to demonstrate. They stick very easily to magnetic whiteboards, and I love that the thousands, hundreds, tens and ones are all a different color, because it helps separate them in the minds of my students. This was definitely a great purchase that I would recommend to any grade school teacher!

Flat magnets, not "blocks"
The description is quite unclear and I wouldn't have bought the product if I'd realized what they actually were. I got the magnetic version (not the plastic) and given the images and the term "blocks" written all over the packaging I thought these would be ACTUAL blocks like the plastic ones but with a magnetic side in case someone wanted to use them that way. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box and found that they are all flat magnets the same thickness as those cheap magnets businesses give you as promo items. Even the "cube" meant to represent 1,000 is a flat magnet drawn to look 3D. I'm keeping them and my child is using them but if the description had been more clear I DEFINITELY would have purchased the plastic ones instead.

Not as expected...
Not quite what I had hoped for. While teaching virtually I have liked having large visual manipulatives that my students can see during our math calls. However these were more work to use than just drawing out the base ten blocks. I can see where they were be useful to have students manipulate them and I am going to keep them for a potential center. However, they did not work for the purpose I had hoped.

Beaucoup trop gros
