great USB charger, Easy replacment for outlet

Really like this. Easy to install but need a good amount of space in your work box, as this device is deeper than a standard receptacle. Nice product. Will buy more.

This is the future. So convenient!

Is so nice but to have to keep track of my USB chargers, especially note that nearly everything uses them. The USC-C option on this is great, as more and more devices use that standard. I had a professional electrician install them during a retrofit, so I can’t speak to how difficult it is to install on your own. I’ve seen similar products offered for less, but many of the reviews speak of a whine or noise emitting from them. The electrician said this is good prefers brand, and so far, so good. No noise, and everything works great.

Modern House update

I didn’t have any 20amp at any of my local hardware and big box stores. Install was easy because the electrical box was modern. I’m happy to have inspected another outlet for its wiring. This outlet was placed in my kitchen. I keep a USB-c charging cable plugged in at all times. Whenever I notice my phone battery low, it gets plugged in and the charging is always fast.

Works like described.

Easy to install. Nothing complicated. Handy to have an extra charging port in the kitchen. This outlet is protected by a GFCI outlet that I have installed next to it.

Works well, versatile, saves space

Works as advertised; allows me to charge my USB-C Power Delivery phone and micro-USB tablet without a separate wall charger, while also allowing full use of both outlets. It won't charge my laptop, but I didn't expect it to. We installed this in our workshop shed, where it's inconvenient to keep a wall charger. Would be nice if they also made a GFCI receptacle with these features, but it's perfect for my needs.

Requires a larger than standard gang box to install: UPDATE

I love(d) this product now that it's installed, but I had to replace my standard single gang box to a larger one to make this fit. Once I did that I had no problems. I haven't measured charging time. UPDATE: The c-usb has stopped charging on this. I have no idea why, or why it would be even vulnerable to stopping, but it has, and it's very disappointing, considering the price of this item.
