Fits Hoover shop vac

Fits a very old Hoover shop vac 56529 requiring Hoover Type X bags. Did not need the band, the Hoover ring held very much in place. The folds make it best less efficient, but very minor, compared to an actual Hoover Type X (if you can find them).

Description a tad bit misleading

The description of these three filters says they are for 5 gallon and up but they fit my one gallon older Shop-Vac perfectly. The description also says they are disposable but actually when you get the package it says reusable and they are the exact same reusable type filters that came with my older shop vac. I am extremely pleased with these and just ordered another package because who knows when I will be able to find these again at such a great price.

Fits Shop-Vac Model 3331.5H

Fits my very old Shop-Vac perfectly. Although listed as disposable, they appear to be washable and reusable. Delivered in two packs of three filters with one mounting band included in each pack. Mounting bands are sturdy and should last through several filter changes.

This item took TWICE as long to ship as the other items in the same order. Last one to receive. While it IS as shown and described, the listing would benefit from actual dimensions. NOTE: the packaging does NOT contain dimensions either ..??? Fortunately, it does fit my ShopVac and meets my needs. While some may want/need the 'glorified rubber band' included, I'd not rely on function or durability. I have the original ring from the vacuum, which works perfectly with this replacement filter.

Good filter, need's to be a bit bigger

Filters verry well and is thick enough to be reused a couple of times before replacing. But to fit all vacumes it shoule be at least one inch wider. I can fit it on my Shop Vac but it's a bit short. Elastic band is strong enough though to keep it in place.

Know what size fits

Works good fit is good also. Just wish it had a better elastic band to hold it in place as i think the elastic band will break eventually. Is to bad it didn't come with a adjustable band for different size motors. (EG. hose clamp)

Too small to fit over a shop vac filter

These are too small to fit a shop vac. I’m not sure what size of vacuum they are designed for but they don’t fit over the filter of either my portable vacuum cleaners

Don't waste your money

Complete garbage, doesn't stay. Put when you turn the vacuum on. Could have given a better way to secure it than a crappy rubber band.
