Very handy!

I like to cook thick steaks on the grill and got tired of raw meat centers so I started using this thermometer and never had a raw center since. I also use it to check pork roasts cooked in the oven and even turkey. money well spent!

Nice but slow

Honestly, it’s very nice and seems like a good quality, but the temperature is very slow to register. You turn it on, it says a temp, then very slowly works it’s way up or down taking many seconds to get to a steady, final temperature. Wish it wasn’t so slow.

Avoid

It came DOA (dead-on-arrival). Even if it works the handle is way too big and the probe is so thick that can’t puncher the good.

Napoleon quality!

Another awesome Napoleon product. Nice that they use AAA batteries that are readily available rather than the watch style batteries most others use.

Good product generally

This is generally a good product, and gives fast, accurate readings. It has a useful chart on the back showing the ideal temperatures for various meats. But it does have one flaw in that it is very difficult to turn on and off. Don't know whether the switch on mine is faulty as it takes several attempts to get it to work which is kind of annoying...otherwise it would get five stars!

Had two of these, both broke in no time

Not built to last at all- first one lasted a day. Second one, about a month. Kudos to Amazon for replacing the first one and then refunding the second one when they stopped working! I bought a Taylor compact waterproof thermometer instead which is more expensive but much much better, and would highly recommend you save your money.
