These 10" sediment water filters seem like they are well made. Good price, fast shipping, and very well packed for shipping.

Water filter
These work great. We were purchasing from the dealer who installed our system. $17.00 each. These are exactly the same and at a great savings!,, couldn’t be happier

Filters my water.
Filters my water. It's nothing exciting. Does better than the thread filters

Finally a solution to trapping sand from my well
I've tried various types of spun polypropylene filter to trap sand from my well. The sand clogs the filter on the faucet on my lowest level bathroom. None worked well: the faucet would clog up often within minutes of use, even with new filters that claimed to work down to 1 micron. Later I read just about any cellulose filter will outperform the spun filters since its easier to manufacture a consistent size to the holes (more particles of the specified size are trapped). These work great. I've had them about a year (dual filter) and just replaced them. Rarely do I need to flush the faucet filter. I haven't see the mold problem on the filter others have experienced, so guess it depends on the characteristics of your well water.

Perfect Fit
Perfect fit as a replcement filter for my well system. I never have to worry about these once I replace them. They last, on average, about three months - depending on how bad your water is. There are some times I need to replace earlier and sometimes I can get a month more. Just be aware of your water pressure and change accordingly. You will not go wrong with these.

Reliable
Catch everything they’re supposed to. I use a second filter after this one that is 5 micron and costs much more. This really extends the life of the more costly 5 micron filter

Good filters for sediment
This works as expected, and I change them every few months - the pleated designs works best for surface area, and effectiveness. I try to replace them every few months. The only problem is the insane price fluctuations Amazon's algorithms apply to these - way too many price changes.

Worth the price !
Purchased a "name" brand when I installed the original filter and it was more than twice the price of this one. Pentek is now the filter of choice and I'm happy. We draw directly from the lake and usually replace the filter every two(2) months or earlier if the pressure drops. This filter is doing an excellent job.

Great price...
Fits my filter housing perfectly. Exact same as filter provided by company that installed my treatment system at 1\3 the cost...

Great For The Cottage
We use these filters for our lake water system to filter out sand. At our local hardware store they are almost double the price. A great find for us. Use 3-4 each summer.
