Fast Upgrade

I am very pleased with the easy of installation with this brake upgrade. Everything went smoother than expected, and I'm now planning on using the Z26 upgrade for my car. My son even mentioned how nice the brakes are when he took my truck for the day.

Crappy Packing but Great Product

What a difference in my 2010 GMC Sierra heavy/half ton's braking ability! It weighs in at 6,400lbs due to it having the 6.2 liter drive train in it and a couple size bigger 10 ply tires. I installed brand new OEM brakes a few years ago and they did ok, but nothing great. After installing these I don't think I'll ever buy OEM brakes again. There is no more sluggish/heavy feeling braking anymore. Now I press the brake pedal and BAM, my heavy girl stops! My only real negative is the packing. I counted it in the review since it is in fact from the manufacturer. All the shims are just tossed in with the other parts so yea, they're all smashed to heck by the time you get them. I had to bend and straighten every single one that I used. Nothing was packed very well, but just good enough to keep and real damage from happening. Pack everything better, provide shims that aren't smashed and drop the price a few $$ and I would happily give a 5 star review.

Awesome Brakes

Ive had these on my other “smaller” cars…they did great. But in stopping a 3ton vehicle…quite impressive!!

Excellant brakes! Poor packaging, beat up in shipping:(

Great brakes and easy install but like others say also the packaging sucks and everything gets beat up and shaken around during shipping. All the boxes with pads and rotors were broken open and mutilated and the brake hardware was so bent up, 1 was broken so I had to use 1 old hardware piece :( I don't understand why PowerStop would ship something so heavy in such poor packaging

Great fit. Exact replacement for the OEM brake components.

Replaced all the pads and rotors on my 2013 GMC Sierra Denali. Everything fit perfectly for a good install. The pads and rotors appear to be of good quality. I pull a boat trailer quite a bit, so I'm hoping they last. There is a noticeable improvement in the braking of my truck, and no brake noise. I followed the break-in procedure that came on the pad boxes, and so I shouldn't have to worry about changing them for a long time!

Look great, stop great!

Easy to install on our Yukon XL! I only wish I had wire brushed the hubs before putting everything back on the first time (as strongly recommended in the instructions). I had a little bit of wobble at 75-80mph, so I took everything back off, brushed and reassembled and smooth as silk now. The break-in process was straightforward and then we did a 3,000 mile road trip through the Rocky Mountains and had a chance to REALLY break them in ;). 5,000 miles in - they work flawlessly. By far the best brakes I’ve ever had on any vehicle.
