Did not fit

Similar to other reviewers, this did not fit the hoses that I assume were purchased at a big box hardware store. I had to go to a regional sprinkler specific store to find a fitting that worked. In the end, the part that worked fit inside the hose and was held on by two hose clamps.

didn't fit

The product looks fine, but the description should have been more clear - did not fit my landscaping system, which is comprised of basic flexible tubing bought from Home Depot. Not sure what kind of tubing this is designed for, but I wish they could have done a better job describing it.

Fixed my overwatering problem

I installed this valve to stop watering my drought resistant groundcover. I had quite a few plants on a drip system and at first I was happy to have a lot of water on the groundcover. After the groundcover was established, this valve made it easy to stop the water and I can turn it on again for a few cycles if the need arises. It installs easily and does the job.

2 failed in succession - junk, made to fail, and they know it.

It's clear to me that the latest iteration of this product is defective. I have had two of these fail in succession, but the previous one lasted maybe 5 years. I noticed the failure three days after the return window closed; how unfair is that? C'mon raindrip, get your stuff together. In both cases, same failure, the valve top with handle just pops off, and you cannot get it back in. Junk, made to fail, and they must know it by now. Also, now that the amazon return window is over, there is no part of the raindrip website that says anything about "customer service", to say nothing of returns. Urgh.

The actual ball valve leaks.

The valve leaks. The other product I bought from them leaks at the spigot. Trash company.
