The Razorri Solido S2 complete sharpening stone kit enables you to safely and easily sharpen and polish all of your bladed instruments. Dull blades are not only ineffective but are also dangerous to you and those around you. With our two double-sided sharpening stones you can take pride in having knives so sharp you can shave the hairs off your arm. Our stones don't require fancy oils to use, just some standard tap water is enough to lubricate your blade as it moves across the sharpening stone. The #400 grit is only for repairing knives or chipped blades as it will remove more material from the blade. The #1000 is good for general-use sharpening, while the higher grit #3000 and #8000 stones are best for honing your already-sharpened blades. Once done with sharpening and honing, you can use the leather strop to remove any lingering burrs and produce a mirror-like polish on your blade. ADDITIONAL TIPS: * Maintaining the angle is a breeze thanks to our 15-degree angle guide, which attaches to your knife. * Be patient and take your time while sharpening, it could take up to an hour depending on how dull or damaged your blade has become. * If the stone starts to feel dry or you feel too much friction, add more water to the stone.

🔪Safety First: The non-slip rubber pad will keep your stones from moving around as you sharpen allowing you to focus on sharpening your blades without worrying about slicing through your fingers. 🔪Flatten Your Stones: After continued use, your stones will start to wear out and become uneven in some places, just like the path in your carpet from the front door to the couch. The included flattening stone smooths everything out to return your stones to a certain flatness. 🔪Flawless Angles: The hardest part of sharpening is maintaining a precise angle on your blade. With our durable angle guide, all you have to do is slide the knife into the guide and you are ready to go!. 🔪Choose Your Grit: Our complete kit comes with stones in 4 different grits so you can do everything from repairing chipped blades to honing your already-sharpened kitchen knife. 🔪Trust Honest Abe: “Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.” - Abraham Lincoln. If Uncle Abe took the time to sharpen his axe, you should too.

Works as it sould, takes some practice
Delivered with a broken stone. Contacted seller (Yuki); very helpful, sending a replacement set promptly. My straight razors are now sharp enough to shave with. Carefully!

Great Value
Compared to competitive products Razor represents a great value. Well crafted the folders effective and the results are beyond razor sharp. Caution once you use the system to sharped your blades become dangerous so take care when handling and if you don't have proper sheaths get them!

not bad
8000 grit probably pushing it, doesnt feel like 8000. but i only use 3000 grit stone most of the time.can cut HAP40 and Aogami Super steel with moderate speed. good stone to learn sharpening . the only thing useful in this set is the 400-3000 stone and the white correction stone. can't really ask for more at this price.

You get what you pay for. Does its job.
As expected this takes a while to learn, but I have improved in my sharpening skills. Some imperfections spotted on the stones which could lead to knife edge indentation. Primary imperfections are tiny "spikes", please sand these off to avoid wasting time on your edge.

Good set of knife sharpening stones for the price.
I happily received this set the next day after ordering. It comes packaged nicely with everything in bags secured in bubblewrap and a nice box which ensured nothing was broken. The sharpening stones did a terrific job restoring the edge on my knives that had been sadly neglected. The stones are labeled on the side by grit, so that is very nice. There are grippers to put on the base of the stone as well and a nice bamboo wood block to set them in as you work. The leather strap is a little short, and not finished very well, but it is usable. The angle guide is a good addition to this kit. The difficult part of sharpening knives is keeping a consistent angle and this helps with that. It does however seem to be for larger or at least longer knives. It was hard to use on a curved blade like pocket knive ends. The written instruction pamphlet leaves a bit to be desired, however there are plenty of instruction videos out there you can google for help. I have not used the flattening stone but is a great addition for the longevity of this kit. Overall this is a very nice set at a great price.

If Yoda got drunk and penned a romance novel, he'd write these instructions
Okay I just got these and they LOOK fantastic, but those directions???? We’re these written by Yoda during of his drinking binges? I actually hosted a dramatic reading of this instruction manual with my book club, and brought the room to tears when I got to the part about how personal feeling can be. Seriously, China, you've mastered the art of replicating consumer goods and selling them as your own; it's time you mastered the art of the English language. Okay so directions aside, I am a novice user and have never owned a set of whetstones before. This set seems very nicely made for the money. I've used them on two chefs knives so far, and they did a good job sharpening. I had to go to Youtube to find directions, but conveniently there are several videos using a set just like this. I cannot yet speak to just how great they are as compared to, say, a diamond stone, but they were able to put an edge back on a dull blade nicely. I have yet to find information on proper use of the small stone or the leather strop. I'll update this post as my experience grows.

Perfectly good whetstone, INCREDIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Being new to knife sharpening, I did some research and settled on Razorri. The set arrived and everything looks well made and consistent with the suggestions in the guides I found online. However, the little clip-on angle guide was not in the package. As a beginner, I found that not having it made sharpening my knife impossible. I just wasn't able to hold it consistently at the correct angle. I emailed Razorri customer service with my name and address and described my problem. Within a few hours they replied and made it right, over and beyond what I expected. Buy this product with confidence that if you have any problems whatsoever, that their customer service will take care of you, and quickly.

Great sarter sharpening stone complete set
(I took these photos right after using the stones and didn't clean them yet.) The stones came quickly and well-packaged. This is the first time we used sharpening stones so we replayed the instructional video several times to understand how it works. I'm very impressed with the beginner-friendly set and all the accessories that came with it, most importantly the ANGLE GUIDE which keeps a certain angle on the blade for us. It really makes the whole process of sharpening much easier. We sharpened our kitchen knives on #400 because they were a little rough and had never been sharpened before, and then moved on to the other stones so we could get ready for a cookout last weekend. We don't know how to use the leather strop so far though, will try to study the correct method soon. We liked this set so much we are considering purchasing another set as a gift for my parents.

Good stones, but a couple of observations
Sharpening a knife well with whetstones is a skill that takes practice. Buying a set of stones won't have you creating silky smooth, razor sharp edges first go, no matter how many videos you watch that make it seem like a breeze. Cheaper knives have lower quality steel, which can also make achieving that edge more difficult. These stones are very good for the price - certainly worthwhile for a novice. There are a couple of buts... The angle guide won't work for all knives - basic geometry dictates that the angle produced will vary depending on the width of the blade. A bit gimmicky. The flattening stone isn't going to cure any dishing - it's a small block that will simply sit in any dish. A flatting stone (or lapping plate) needs to be much bigger, so that it bridges over low areas and only abrades the high spots, to work effectively. However, this was obvious before purchasing and not a deal breaker for me. The stones I received have the grit labelled incorrectly - the 400 grit is definitely the green rather than darker blue. I think the white is indeed 8000 but determining which blue is 1000 vs 3000 - can't tell.
