A good writing instrument for the field
As an archaeologist, one of the most important tools is a good writing instrument. My work consist of writing things down and drawing maps in pencil that can be easily corrected if needed. I carry a rite in the rain journal for my work. I usually carry a .5 m and a .7 m mechanical pencil. I wanted to replace carrying multiple pencils with multiple lead refills and decided to try a rite in the rain pencil. I am really glad that I did. The writing on the pencil is smooth whether writing down quick notes or drawing profiles or other mappings. The eraser actually erases and not just smears which is a huge advantage in my line of work. So glad that I chose to get this pencil. It is the only one that I carry now. Great product from a great company. Worth every penny.

Heavy
Like the heft. Clip isn’t the greatest. Don’t carry in pocket with other items, finish gets scratched easily

Very durable and ergonomic pencil
I like the fatter grip. As a diesel mechanic the not slip grip is great for my gorilla hands. Lead is to big for my liking cause I write so small but it holds up and almost never breaks. The eraser does consume faster than most but I ordered the lead and eraser pack also so no worries. Great pencil and I won't use any other! Thanks guys. Loyal fan!

Solid weight
This is a industrial mechanical pencil and it feels that way too. Smooth action and probably a great tactical protection weapon in a bad situation.

Solid and weighted
It is solid built and doesn't break easily. There is a weight to it, making it feel balanced in your hand.

I love this Pencil!
This pencil is just absolutely amazing! The way the lead glides across the page, its just absolutely divine. It sits well in my hand with little discomfort, even after hours of use.

Love it
I work in sometimes moist and often freezing temperatures (-10) and was looking gor a writing instrument that wouldnt freeze up. This pencil will be perfect and the fat “lead” writes smoothly and feels solid so i dont have to worry about excessive breaking. I chose orange in case i dropped it so it would be easy to find. Its heavy which feels good in ky hand but not so heavy that it feels cumbersome.
