Perfect to train correct writing

The grips are HARD to get on a pencil. They are tight, but once on, hey aren’t coming off. Probably why the pack is so large! They work like a charm though! My kiddos had the weirdest grip when writing and their hand write was atrocious! So bad that they were getting poor grades because he teacher couldn’t figure out what they were writing. We got them using these grips, did a quick coaching session on how to properly use them the first night along with a few practice sentences and wow! Huge change that night. They’ve been using these at school for about 2 weeks and grade are climbing already. So glad we purchased these!

Kinda Disappointed

The holes on the grippies are just slightly too small to fit a regular pencil. It did cause some trouble getting on but once it was in it really does work with helping handwriting and hand grip. Haven’t used this since because it was so hard to get on it caused some frustration.

Too tight to fit anything but a thin pencil

I though these would expand to accommodate for different widths of pencila, pens and markers, but it's very tight and only fits thin pencils.

Great for kids (or adults like me!)

I have tried many different pencil grips to help guide my children into correct pencil grip. Once I taught the where to place which finger, even my lefty has noticeably had more control in her pencil grip and writing. It is much quicker than sticking your fingers through loops, and more comfortable. It is even easy for me. I never learned the tri finger grasp, but his pencil grasp is actually comfortable to me.

great gripper but hard to know which way to use

I've purchased this style of gripper before and there was a star on the spot where the thumb should go that was very helpful for the students. There was also an arrow that showed which way to slide it onto the pencil. This gripper has neither of those, and so is a bit more of a challenge. But if you test it in your fingers first, you'll know how to put it on and grip it. And then it works fine. Have found that it starts to slide down on the pencil a little too easily sometimes too, so I put a rubber band around under to keep it on. I definitely think this style is the best for teaching young children the proper grip.

False advertising

If you zoom in on the photo of this item it says Stetson. Stetro is a quality name brand that I have been using for 30 years for my students. I made the mistake of buying a cheap Chinese knock off before and had to send them back. I zoomed in, and it says Stetro on the product. When. It arrived here, from china Stamped on it instead of made in USA, no Stetro brand, no star to show where student places their thumb, no arrow to show you which way to put on if left or right handed. Besides all of that too small to slide onto a pencil. Completely useless piece of garbage. False advertising is wrong and is illegal and should not be allowed on this site. I specifically shopped carefully and also recommended to another teacher because it said Stetro on the image.

Exactly as expected

My son had these type of grips prescribed by an occupational therapist. Every time he lost them we had to go back and bug the OT for more. I finally decided to just buy a quantity ourselves. I asked her first whether these were the correct ones. They’re good quality just like the ones the therapist had originally provided. I would not recommend choosing a particular grip without a professional’s input though.

Next time will spend the extra money to buy the authentic grippers.

Knock offs. Very hard plastic, not finger friendly like the real product. No arrow so children know which way to put the gripper on. Some are very tight and hard to put on the pencil. Will not fit pencil crayons.

Hold pencil very well ,great to have 50 of them my kid lost like 3 , help improve my kids writing skill. Was recommended by a job therapist for writing.
