WPA3
Setting up is a breeze and they work seamlessly with Alexa but it's not using the latest technology. For the life of me I could not get these to connect on my network. Only connecting to a 2.4 ghz network is plastered all over the instructions but they also need to let consumers know that you CANNOT connect on a router configured with WPA2/WPA3. As soon as I flipped my router configuration to WPA/WPA2 using AES the connected right away. Hopefully this will help some of you having connection issues instead of banging your head against the wall like I did.

Garbage!
Waste of money. Bought one a couple years ago. Worked great. Now hot garbage there is no customer support and it will not connect to wifi. Buy other smart bulbs. These suck.

Subjective Impression
Subjective Impression .... That's why I waited to review these bulbs. I wanted to see how well they perform long term. The first thing I should mention, in fairness to the bulbs, is my internet/wifi is sketchy. I have a100 year old house, solid interior walls. That might affect what I'm going to say about the bulbs. I also have Charter service and they cut service weekly for "maintenance". That could also impact the bulbs. Finally, the Sengled app leaves much to be desired. The bulbs are great, easy install, good lighting and they easily interface with Alexa. As long as the connection is good, Alexa is a smoothe operator. Sometimes, most often, I use verbal Alexa commands. When I don't want to wake my dog up, I use the quick access Alexa light panel on my phone. (If I wake my dog he thinks I should give him treats, midnight snacks, and he has to go out to potty) The internet/wifi interruptions cause a bulb disconnect and I have to reset most of them. That takes more time than I want to give a bulb(s). Sometimes the bulbs completely back out and I have to delete them and re-install them, name them again and hope the connection holds. That takes waaay too much time for almost a dozen bulbs that I have connected. The app makes an easy install but the app management is messy. For instance, an installed bulb page doesn't give options that you may want, like a quick reconnect and if you create room groups, it's difficult to undo. Suggest making your groups via Alexa. Use the app to install, select the Alexa control and do everything else in the Alexa app. Supposedly the bulb should last 25,000 hours. In doing my math on my hall ceiling bulb based on typical usage, it should have lasted about 2 years. That bulb has been in service for 11 months and it's currently lighting at about 50% (for 2 weeks now). So maybe that 25,000 hours is 100% for awhile, 50% for awhile, and 25% for awhile, continuing to dim until it dies. I expect the 25k hours to be at 100% for at least 2 years based on the usage of the hall light. Problem is, by the time you know this, return options are expired and you don't know until it starts dimming down. I guess it would be the same with any brand. My hall light is used daily but for very short periods, like filling dog's water bowl or doing security checks at night, less than 10 minutes at a time. The den light, installed at the same time as the hall light, is used for longer times and is still performing at 100%. Apparently the longevity of the bulbs is subjective. Based on my experience, I like the bulbs as long as there are no wifi glitches. Regarding this brand or any other brand, how long they last at 100% is anyone's guess. I wanted to review this bulb because I think it's fair to share how it has performed overall. I can't say it's any better or worse than another brand.

Home lighting
Previously purchased the hub with the bulbs. This is the same concept without the hub. The bulbs were connected to the Wi-Fi with ease using the same app.

2 years and still lit as snoop!
Color range is good, although it doesn’t transition smoothly like my GE light strip; it hasn’t let me down once and I use it for my wake up routine in google home, which has a high success rate when using google home. I’ve only noticed a couple times it didn’t respond since buying this bulb. Blue is very blue, red is very deep red, and green is- well green.

A little tricky to set up.....but worth it.
I have been using these bulbs for about 6 months. A little tricky to setup with wi-fi, but once it's connected, they are great. The app allows you to set up multiple schedules and brightness of each bulb. You can create lighting groups as well. I would definitely recommend.

Works well
My garage where I use these is far from my router and still works great. I haven't messed with the settings and such yet. Pretty easy once you have the app to Alexa integrate to boot.

great integration with Alexa!

Works most of the time and does very well.
I'd have liked some more customization options and a fade-effect as you see on most LED strip lights, but as a smart bulb, this seems to be pretty great. I do get connectivity issues as they are pretty far from the modem in my house, but it's not too bad. unless I'm in bed and they just won't freaking turn off and I have to get up and flick the light switch even though I'm about to pass out :[ That's happened once though, so not really a gripe.

Hot Trash, Will Not Set Up
These are just hot garbage. App goes through setup, bulb connects to my wifi network (I can see it connected to my router), but then the app tells me it couldn't connect and the bulb doesn't show up in the app. I've tried multiple wifi routers with multiple different wifi security settings, everything produces the same results. I'm an embedded software engineer who writes software for devices very similar to these. If anyone could figure out how to set these up, it would be me. But I can't. I contacted their support and got no response for over a week. Time to return them. Find something else to spend your money on.

Won't set up
The first 4 bulbs (on the left) I purchased on Amazon was very successful. It's connected to my Alexa right away. It is so good that can control it though my app. I repurchased another set. The bulbs that I purchased second time never connect.

AVOID THESE AT ALL COSTS
They randomly cycle colours and brightnesses. The only thing they do reliably is lose connection.
