clamp is weak

A bit flimsy and the clamp is weak but I needed it and its still working after a good while. It does the job. That's the best I can say about it.

Greatly Needed!

Doing a lot of DIY in my house & some areas are in low-light areas of the house (like my interior bathroom that has no windows). The light is easy to move & clamps onto or hangs from just about anything. Movable & lightweight but not flimsy. NOTE: SUGGESTION - Regular lightbulbs get hot & in this style of lamp will heat the metal, which could possibly cause you to be burned. Try using a 60w Basic LED Daylight (A19) bulb instead. These bulbs stay cool to the touch & give a great light against the reflector. Also, the bulbs are coated so they are more durable than a regular glass lightbulb. I'm mentioning this so you get the best quality of light when using the clamp light.

Great for odd jobs like painting, ect.

I like this lamp for its flexibility to use anywhere needed. I used it for painting ceiling and walls.

The clip is the best part. Otherwise, thumbs down.

Apparently, this is a new clip design, and that part is great and for me very useful. I may buy a different reflector and use with this clip. The bad: (1) The bulb socket is not lined up with the housing for it. So, the bulb points in a different direction compared to the reflector. (2) There aren't enough threads on they are not large enough. So, the reflector repeatedly falls off. Not super easy to rethread correctly. So, sometimes I just leave it hanging loose. for me the reflector is more just protection for the bulb, which it still does- - my bulb has it's own reflector.

Looks better than most clamp lights I suppose-clamp feels secure!

Using this for a grow light for my houseplants. It No issues mounting it, fits the grow light just fine. I'm very happy at how tightly it's clamped onto the pole! The gold reflector makes it look a little less shop light-like, though hoping the super bright gold color dulls down eventually though. Also wish there were color options and length options for the cord, would've wanted a white and longer cord. Otherwise, a good buy.

I Love it BUT.... do YOU want very GOLD light?

I usually hhhhhhate led anything but I think bc of the gold shade it almost makes no difference if I usually do.... however, you must like very very golden light to really like these, which in my case, I do, if you are looking for more daylight balanced light, I'd suggest a standard silver one, bc even if you change the bulb to incandescent the light given off is unable to compete with the GOLD shade. I love them and am getting more but I'm clear that it satisfies my needs.

Very sturdy; clamp stays put and stays tightened

This is a sturdy lamp, and the tightening mechanism works pretty well. The clamp is ridiculously strong (almost too strong). I bought a much cheaper version with the old fashioned clamps and they were terrible. I'd recommend this one if you want something you can set up and it will stay in place. I took off a star because the clamp, as I said, is not that easy for old arthritic hands like mine.
