A perfect hat for the Florida sun!

This hat is like the one I wore in Viet Nam in the tropical heat. It’s very comfortable and it makes a good sunshade for your face and neck. As prone to skin cancers as I am, I need a hat with a good brim when I’m either working in the yard or out fishing on the lake.

Great Boonie Hat

PROS: Absolute great and true fit, quality construction and camo pattern (Multicam Tropic). CONS: The sewn on nylon loops sit too high on the hat, in my opinion. They should be about an inch lower than they are, and should sit closer to the base/brim of the hat. So I have to take this to get altered, which will be an extra cost. Otherwise A+ hat. That's my opinion at least.

Way smaller than the size listed.

Not even remotely close to the size on the label. I even used their size chart and measured my head before ordering. I get it though, using imperial measurements for a product made in a metric country it's bound to get screwed up. Still, I'd like my money back.

Good enough

Bonnie arrived on time in a soft pack. Camo pattern is very close to OCP tropical, but don’t think it is exact. Material feels softer than my other boonies, but it’s not drippy and can still hold its shape. Don’t know how it will be after several washes. At least okay for now. My primary complaint is that the attachment loop is sow lopsided, with it placed high at the front and low at the back. Don’t know if it’s done intentionally, but none of my other Bonnie’s are like that. Looks a bit weird on close inspection, but doesn’t affect the hat’s functions. One other minor thing is that the vent holes are done in brass. I would prefer to have it done in black. Overall, it’s good enough, but expect better at this price.

Size inconsistency is a problem...

The first one I ordered (a size 7) was way too small. I returned it and ordered a 7.25. It is way too big. I give up. There is no consistency in the sizes. I'll find another vendor. You should too.

Fits well

Just received the item, earlier than expected. Size is true to 7 7.75, same as SAF's Jungle Hat. Brim is wide, works well for Singapore's sunny weather.
