Yum!

This makes REAL shaved ice just from any ice cubes. We use it several times a day just at home. It is too large to keep on the kitchen counter. We are going to put it on our covered deck outside. It is also very loud. What we love about it is you just use any ice cubes. You don’t have to pre-freeze a specific shape of ice.

Too noisy and ice does not come out fine. There is still chuck of ice in it.

I use this for home use. What I dislike like is that it is loud and by the drain tray there is black particles coming out.

Summer must have

This makes wonderful shaved ice. Can do a very fine powder or rough crushed ice texture. The ice bin holds a good amount of ice (no special ice molds needed!). Even my 10 year old son has no problem making snow cones with this, it is a simple add ice cubes and push a button to run (and make sure dish/cup is under output spout, which my son forgot the first time :) ). It is loud, but no louder than expected for a machine that crushes ice. The rougher chop is really quick to make snow cones, the finer texture takes a bit longer but is my preferred setting. Used this over 4th of July weekend and everyone loved it.

Works well

We bought it for a birthday party for our little one and it was a huge hit for him and all his little friends. His party was in September and we still get knocks at the door asking if we can make sno cones for the neighborhood kids lol

It's a great machine...

It's a great machine...but when you put it on a table it is very tall and hard to fill. It was fine for me I'm tall but my daughter is 5'5" and trying to get in without spilling was difficult. If the ice gets stuck it's hard to unjam at that height. For the most part it worked great and was not difficult to operate.

given as a present, loved fully for 2 weeks. and off to the garage it goes.

Parents had dreams of the things they ate when they were young.. buy a ice shaver they said... "we" will use it everyday they said. well it got well loved for 2 weeks until they got tired of it. when the world needs it again, it will come back... anyway, although made fully out of plastic (the actual shaver blade withholding) it worked well. could probably get better results with a hand crank one but we're not picky. the blade will get stuck if you set it to super fine, so ease up on the texture and it should work well.

DEJO DE FUNCIONAR AL MES DE LA COMPRA

The media could not be loaded. Al principio estuve muy feliz con mi compra, funcionaba bien, se hacian a lo mucho 3 raspados de 8 oz diarios (no es mucho uso), y ayer estando en uso afeito bien el hielo de un raspado y de repente dejaron de girar las aspas, pense que se habia trabado el hielo, aplane el boton para destrabar y gira perfectamente al lado contrario de las manecillas del reloj, volvi a presionar el boton de encendido pero gira muy despacio y luego se traba, solo gira el tornillo del centro. hoy lo volvi a intentar y la prendi sin el hielo y gira como deberia, pero al poner el hielo se trabo nuevamente. lamento tener que regresarla, me gustaba !!!
