COMBINED WITH 209 Extra Slow Hardener at a 3-parts resin to 1-part hardener ratio, 105 Resin is especially well suited for general coating and structural bonding applications in extremely warm and/or humid conditions or when working time is needed at room temperature. Forms a clear, amber-colored solid with excellent physical properties and moisture-vapor resistance. COMBINED WITH BLUSH-FREE 207 Extra Clear Hardener at a 3-parts resin to 1-part hardener ratio, 105 Resin is excellent for coating and fiberglass cloth applications where an exceptionally clear, moisture-resistant, natural wood finish is desired. It will not blush or turn cloudy, even in humid conditions. Thin film applications roll out and tip off smoothly, requiring less sanding in preparation for finish coatings. COMBINED WITH WEST SYSTEM 205 Fast Hardener or 206 Slow Hardener at a 5-parts resin to 1-part hardener ratio, 105 Resin cures, developing superior physical properties at room temperature. It has excellent structural bonding properties, can be modified with fillers and additives, and will easily coat fiberglass other porous substrates. THIS EPOXY IS EASILY MODIFIED with WEST SYSTEM Fillers, Additives, and Pigments to create the necessary handling characteristics to suit the job at hand. Whether you need to create a pigmented coating, high-strength epoxy joints, a fairing compound, or low-friction surface, WEST SYSTEM 105 Resin is modifiable to meet your project's requirements. 105 EPOXY RESIN is the base material on which all WEST SYSTEM 105 System epoxy compounds are built. It is a clear, pale yellow, low-viscosity liquid epoxy resin. Blended at the correct ratio with one of 4 WEST SYSTEM hardeners, it cures to a high-strength solid that is functionally waterproof, highly resistant to moisture vapor. Based on which hardener you choose, it cures at a wide range of temperatures.

Great product for boat repairs
The West System of epoxy products are fantastic for boat repairs. Have used West products for over a decade and am very pleased with the results.

Good product, insufficient packaging
West Systems 105 Resin has worked flawlessly for me. They provide excellent documentation, repeatable performance, and phone support. The single box that this $100 can of resin came in was not sufficient to prevent a good bit of damage to the can. It did not leak, but how do I know this can will prevent this resin from exposure to air over time? I bought this large can because it is much cheaper per ounce in larger quantities. But I do not plan to use all of this resin this year. I plan to save it and use it over the course of a few years. Will this can compromise the longevity of the resin? I'm a little disappointed.

Arrived in a crushed can
When this arrived the can looked as though something very heavy had been sat on it. The little handle on the top was smashed flat, the sides were caved in. However the cardboard box it came in was not in any way damaged. This means the smashed and damaged can was put in a box already damaged and shipped. Amazon was nice enough to overnight a replacement that was not damaged. However, on another order of 207 hardener, it happened again. Cardboard box was undamaged, the can inside was severely damaged. Why is it so difficult to not put a damaged product in a box to ship it? Amazon is slipping these days. As far as the resin itself, it's West 105. It works flawlessly as it should. I would highly recommend getting the pumps to make the ratios as simple as pushing down on a pump.

Terrible packaging - Container dented badly and leaking
This is not a commentary on West System epoxy. It is a great epoxy, and I have used it and gflex many times. Great stuff. I bought two of the 105 B resin. One can came in fine. They came in separate boxes. The other was badly dented and leaking. I need to use this for a project, so I am not returning it. Whoever distributes the product needs to rethink their packaging. They place it in a cardboard box with a few air floats around two sides. This needs to be protected by something better. This stuff ain't cheap. Pretty ticked off. Later - The 207 B hardener arrived. It came from Total Boat. Completely different packaging. The product came in perfect condition. Great protection of the can. I don't know if you can tell who is sending you this product, but it looks to me like Total Boat knows their stuff. Whoever sent the 105 Resin is used to packaging dropped forged tools not tin cans.

Do not buy from Amazon
DO NOT BUY via Amazon! Wish I had read other reviews. Amazon uses zero packing material around the can. Your can WILL be dented. I’m conscious of my carbon footprint, so I can’t bring myself to send it back. Contents are fine but I’m going to be looking at a dented can for YEARS.
