Temperature isn't constant

This is a nice sized toaster. It works well for homemade bread. The one thing I have found is that the browning isn't the same, even if the bread is from the same loaf. Most of the time we have it turned as dark as possible. Sometimes it starts to burn, and I have to turn it down. Other times it works just fine, and it is darker toasted, but not burnt. I have to be in the kitchen cooking when I make toast, so having to regulate it isn't a problem. It was a good buy, and I would buy it again.

Too small

Probably a good basic toaster overall. The only problem is that the slots are too short for even regular sized standard bread. The listing states it is designed for "any size bread", but is not. Slices have to be bent and jammed into the opening for them to fit. Weird to design them to be extra wide, but too short. What's the point of that? Why not make them a half-inch longer, all other specs being the same, and charge an extra dollar for it? It seems to work fine otherwise, but I may want to buy another model after a while. A bargain is not always a bargain.

Had no release button never had a toaster that didnt come with one. But other then that it seems to be ok

Just the best

We live toast in our house and this toaster is like a dream come true. Perfect toast every time... even after months of constant use. Easy clean up and once we found the right temp for our desire taste we haven't changed it. Best buy this year!
