Broke within 48 hours of use
Not sure if this is an issue for the seller or for Freud. However, withing 48 hours of making casing the bit failed. A small chunk came out of the item and now I don't know if it's an issue for the seller or for Freud. I've never had a problem with an item I've purchased via Amazon so I don't know with whom I should deal with on this matter. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

New Freud bit
I am replacing a window in the kitchen. The cabinets are cherry and I thought it would be nice to frame them with matching wood. I have a few old cherry boards that I milled using the Freud bit. I had to modify my router table and fence and made many practice cuts in pine, popular and finally with my cherry. The bit works great. The cut was smooth and nicely detailed. It took 3 passes to finish the cut.

Freud what else do you say?
I am trimming each room in a different wood and make all my own casing. Where do you find hickory, cherry, butternut, or sycamore casing? Yes I can have it run at a local mill shop but would have to pay $45 setup for each wood species whether they ran it all at once or not.

Smooth cuts
Why buy window and door casing for five times as much, when you can make your own. This bit can make perfectly formed industry standard molding with as little as one to two passes. My bit has stayed sharp after hundreds of linear feet cut.

Top Quality Bit
I have several router bits and I've learned that Freud is the only way to go if you want a quality bit that won't break after a few uses. Yes, they are expensive, but the quality is well worth it.

Excellent Bit
I've been using this bit with a 2.5 HP router to profile red oak lumber as well as create casing. I usually make about 4 passes for a complete profile and it is working great.

Needs really good support
I haven't made a decent moulding yet despite using 6 feather boards trying to stabilize on my Kreg router table. Initial cuts are good but as the cuts get deeper, the bottom corner support is missing allowing the moulding to twist slightly. Next step is to make a taller supported guide to reinforce the fence. Not sure if the router bit is to blame or not- but I don't think so.
