sturdy and attractive

This container is great! I was looking in our local store and found one for 10 dollars less. However, that one was made of thinner plastic and the top buckled when I pushed on it. I am coming back to buy another one. I feel this will hold up for a long time and is worth the extra $10. The wheels on the bottom are better too. I put my heavy purse on top of it and it holds it up fine. I use mine with a few bags inside rolled up instead of emptying the food into it. My fur babies eat a couple of different kinds of food. This is large enough for storing a few medium sized bags of food and their treat bags. I am glad I got the larger one. I like the darker color of this one to keep the bags inside hidden.

Rolling bin

This bin is great. I purchased it to hold the large bags of birdseed that I buy and it works great. The wheels turn and roll very easily. The flip up lid is very handy and snaps closed with no effort. The seed is safe and dry in the garage.

Great for dog food

We've had trouble with ants getting into our dog food, so bought this to keep it airtight. So far so good. Color was more black, than brown as shown in picture, but not a deal breaker. I like that it is on wheels and moves easily. Holds a large 40lb bag of dog food.

Not airtight

Everything is good, it’s just not airtight as advertised ????????‍♀️ and it’s not as tall/skinny as it may seem in photos hahaha the proportions are just right. I got the black one. And I would suggest getting the black one so that your dog’s food doesn’t go bad as fast from sunlight.

I love that I found a decently priced dog food container. Holds up to 42 lbs of food which is perfect for us. I had to order it twice because the first one arrived without the clasp to keep it closed but they sent another one right away, I just have to return the 1st one.

got this one and a bigger size for my pups. love that it’s taller as opposed to it being wide so it doesn’t take up a whole lot of space. would purchase again!

Nice container, but there were a few glitches

My first order arrived on a Friday in a huge box without packing material – there was no lid and an Amazon return for replacement went quickly and smoothly. The second container arrived Sunday (also w/o packing) but with a crack in the lid at its rear, and the closure for the lid had one of its attachment prongs broken, rendering it useless (it couldn’t be heat-melded or glued) – so much for airtight. Not wanting to risk trying for another functional container, and hating returns, I opted to keep it and eat the loss. On Monday, I both called and emailed Iris, the manufacturer, hoping for a new lid and closure - no response this past week - disappointing. Update, 3-22-23 - Iris contacted me and is sending a new lid and closure. Much appreciated!

Good quality and been using for a year now

No issues with the container. I have used it in Florida and Texas with no issues. I keep it in a closet and roll it out when needed.

Contra luz puedes ver bien las croquetas, pero con luz normal casi no se ven. El plástico es grueso y las ruedas ayudan a moverlo de lugar fácilmente. Le vacíe un bulto de 20kg y aparte tenía como dos kilos de un bulto que ya se me estaba terminando. Es buen producto, sella muy bien, gracias a eso evitamos que le entren las hormigas o se humedezcan por dejar la bolsa abierta. Creo que éste es un artículo que toda persona que tenga mascotas debe tener, conserva muy bien las croquetas. Incluso volví a comprar otro para mi hermana.

I just received this item, but the silver locking handle was broken in the shipping box.

The silver locking handle was broken when received, so I cannot lock the container tight and my dog will surely open it on his own. Not great service by Amazon as they simply said the item does not qualify as a return...even when I only received it less than 10 minutes ago. Terrible customer service!

Massive container

I purchased 2 of these, 1 for dog food and 1 for cat food. It is massive. I could easily fit an entire bag plus some for dog food. For the cat food, it was just way too big. We exchanged for the smaller one for the cat and kept for the bigger one for the dog, but the sheer size surprised me. I love the wheels on it. It seems sturdy. Haven't had any issues to date. Moves easily around for us. It does save us room though, despite the large-ness of it. I think it will keep the food fresher longer than just staying in the bag, but I wouldn't say its airtight by any means. My dog doesn't care though. He eats his own poop, so fresh dog food isn't really important. My cat doesn't seem to care either, so win-win!

Useful storage for large bags of food

We had an older bin that was smaller and wouldn't hold a 30lb. bag of dog food. This one is very large, and has a bit of room to spare. It's a similar material to the opaque Rubbermaid tote-type containers, with a hinged latching lid. It comes with wheels that take just a few seconds to pop into holes in the bottom of the bin. We store the bin under the kitchen table and it fits perfectly. It's very easy to move around the kitchen at feeding time. The lid has a good latch that you need to engage to lock shut (it will make a definite thud against the lid when locked). It's easy to open and close. The lid opens completely for easy access of food or putting in/removing bags or pouring in kibble. We choose to keep the food in the bag and just put the bag in the bin. This is the first kibble our dog has been on, so in case we have to switch formulas, this will help make switching easier. We also don't need to worry as much about the food smell getting into the plastic. We keep the bag sealed inside, and this way the food is also protected from light (our kitchen is bright) The lid has a thick styrofoam-type gasket to help seal the bin. I would prefer that this be rubber or silicone so as to be put in the dishwasher if needed. Having a sturdier gasket would also guard against it getting damaged over time. I don't even know if the company offers a replacement gasket... I would hate to think that it be useless garbage if that can't be replaced. All in all, I would definitely recommend this bin as a relatively economical way to store pet food, lightweight cat litter, or shavings for guinea pigs or other such animals. The bin was wrapped in plastic and came well-packed in a large box. Assembly involved only popping in the wheels.

Holds a 7.2kg bag of Purina ONE cat food

I used to have an airtight container like this which I bought from PetSmart for my former cat. I could mix two 3kg bags of cat food into it, and I just used a 1 cup food scoop to fill his bowl. Since we don't have a pet store like that in town, I ordered this from Amazon, since it looks identical to what I used to have. It's exactly what I was hoping for! I don't use the wheels, since I keep it in the cupboard under the sink (my old one was in the pantry). It holds one biggest bag of cat food, with room to spare. I keep a 1 cup pet food scoop in there and this one container holds up to 6 months worth of cat food, while keeping it fresh and keeping potential pests out! Investing this will save you a lot of money, compared to buying smaller bags. Great for multi-cat households!
