This is a beautiful piece and easy to assemble. Pairs very nicely with copper chains.

Great for concrete where anchors can’t be used.
Our rain chain hangs over concrete and we get lots of wind. So a standard anchor won’t work. This is a great alternative method to anchor your chain. Price seems a bit steep compared to other parts. Half the price of the rain chain. But assuming it’s probably due to the cost of copper. So far we are pleased with the look and it stays put once we added some river stones.

Missing the chain, so…
I’d like to say this is a 5 star product, but I didn’t receive all of the components in order to do so. Missing the connection chain. Would have just sent it back or asked for a replacement chain, but this would have held up the installation for my customer.

This works great with the rain chain!
The media could not be loaded. This works great with the rain chain and gutter adapter! The installation was fairly straightforward. For the basin, the rain chain was long enough to reach in my application. Since I didn’t need any of the included chain for length on the basin, I just removed it and attached the base of the chain directly to the basin. As far as the water falling near the base of the house goes, I will have to keep an eye out just in case… as of right now, it hasn’t been an issue and I think I could add stones around the basin and direct the water even further away from the foundation. Overall, I highly recommend this in addition to the rain chain!

Conversation Piece and Useful
I saw this on a neighbors house and had to buy one. We decided to put rocks in the bottom of the plate to add to the decor. It’s so pretty when it rains and relaxing to listen to on the front porch. The only issue is that you need to make sure it’s secure where you hang it. We have it hung from our gutter and the water made it so heavy that it pulled the gutter down and leaked. We’ve since found a more secure place to hang it with no issues.

does not center, tips over
The media could not be loaded. It's a beautiful bowl. BUT, no matter how you hang it, it tips over on its side. Does not fulfill it's purpose and will go back.

This bowl is a great basin for our rain chain. It is beautiful. I filled it with some colored glass pieces & it is great!

Copper bowl for rain chain
I only gave this bowl 4 stars as I really like it and all, nice finish, pig’s nicely & securely (no scratches or dents) was delivered earlier than expected, attaches easily to the rain chain etc…my only issue was that the bowl does not sit straight/level when hung, it’s tilted all the way to one side! I may place a small rock on one side to level it out, hopefully that will help!

Nice, but not perfect
The basin looks nice but it is not as well made as I had hoped. The bottom area is dented so that it is impossible to fit the washers and bolts on correctly; however, as it is placed in an area where the leaking water will not cause an issue, I kept the basin. It does go very well with the Monarch Copper Rain Chain.
