MY NEIGHBOR WAS DELIGHTED WITH IT
My neighbor's cane was constantly falling on the floor when she rested it against the table, or over a chair. If we were at a restaurant or meeting, the thing fell at least twice during the time we were there. I bought one of these many years ago for my grandmother and later, for my mom and both got a lot of good out of them. I hope this one will hold up as well--and hold her cane up, as well. I got an extra one for myself, just in case I need to use a cane sometime. I liked the instructions that showed that it not only could balance on the edge of the table for hanging--but also could be moved into a position to wedge the cane firmly between the bottom of the table (or other surface) and floor, something I hadn't thought of. These are not easy to locate. I think every drugstore should carry them, next to the canes!!!! It's a great invention, and pretty easy to attach to her cane, which is thin metal. I'm not sure the "jaws" would open wide enough for a really thick cane, though. That's for someone else to try.

Not bad. Not real good, either.
Not bad. Was entertaining when I put it on my cane, then a while later dropped it and the holder flew off across the room and hit something with a crash. Took a while to find it. It was hard for me to get on the cane to begin with, so I was not best pleased. It's spring-loaded and stiff. It sort of rests on a table, though. Not really securely, but better than leaning the thing and hearing it hit the floor a few minutes later. Not saying that you won't. But you'll have to bump it a little or shake the table first. I would say it's better than nothing, but there's got to be something better out there somewhere.

Trouble staying on my cane.
I was excited when a friend of mine let me borrow her cane holder. I decided to look for one to buy. Unfortunately, while this one looked to be the same thing I found that it would not stay on my cane. There is a differently shaped cane holder here on Amazon but it can only be purchased as an add-on. i would love to try the other style but am unable to purchase it by itself. Maybe one day Amazon will make it available as a solo item.

GOOD Product 4$4$4$
This is a fairly good gadget for what it is made to do. The CANE/Crutch Holder stands up (no pun on words there) to its description. The item is a good value due since it is well made compared to others tried. I have found that many of the "CANE" holders are not good at Holding as this one is OK.

Works pretty well, but....
It works very well if what you're placing your cane has sides. A table like a conference table not so well. The cane wants to slide under the table. I just put a box under my desk to hold my cane in place.

Works well
Ordered for my mother's use. Worked great but it managed to come off and was lost. I ordered another one and secured it with tape.

The holder does not open wide enough to fit the upper portion of my cane. I have had almost identical holders that did fit this cane. If it was more expensive, I would pay to return it.
