Sorry i took a chance

My Craftsman door status light failed so I tried this device along with it's receiver as it looked good in the explanation of how it would work. I had to download the english version of the receiver instructions and followed them carefully. I NEVER got the thing to sense door open or closed so after several hours of screwing around and wasted time it went in the junk pile.

Sensor only. No receiver. Not clear in description.

There is a picture of the sensor and receiver in the picture. However, this product is the sensor only. The receiver is SK6 for about $22.00 more. This is not clearly specified and will result in many negative reviews.

The plunger broke off upon door closure and destroys destroys function

Upon closure the plunger is to scrape the floor and be pushed up to turn off the alarm It was difficult to install for consistent function without breaking off the plunger Also the alarm receiver is not included jacking up the price to over $50.00 for a simple contraption I recommend the product “garage doorminder” also available on Amazon which is super easy to install, no moving parts to break off and 100% dependable

Poor battery compartment connection

You cant trust the unit transmitting due to the battery connection.
